Our experience with this dealership was atrocious. The vehicle was not as described, incomplete based on parts list provided, and when delivered had a bad rear axle, bad injectors, missing intake filter. We were threatened multiple times to not share an honest review or would be sued by Jonathan. I hope everyone looks deeper than just his google reviews and checks out the BBB, Yelp, and searches his lawsuit history to find the truth. Sadly I wish I had done that before shopping here. Stay safe!

Unfortunately zero stars is not an option.
***if you get a VIN number ahead of sale, do yourself a favor and pay for a full report on all of the history of that vehicle
Edit to add more info - I recently also discovered that actually the vehicle that had been advertised to us was not even in the possession of Davis Autosports at the time we put a down payment on it, in fact it was marked for sale by owner on cars.com for a little over $26,000 and then immediately sold to us for $40,000 all at the same time. It would appear it was bought back from the last owner he sold it when it was actually rebuilt in 2021 and before even having it in their possession and inspecting it - Jonathan Davis went ahead and turned around and sold it to us saying it was his personal vehicle. Unfortunately still sitting with this jeep in an (actually) reputable Jeep shop being fixed. Oh an the bonus “new screen he put in and we didn’t even know about”, well that checks out as obviously he didn’t know about it, I’m sure the previous owner put it in the last few years they had had it in between.
Just received the Hardrock Jeep in the past week after a month of little to no contact after Jonathan Davis received full payment and stated it would be 3 days to rebuild the supercharger, eventually received the vehicle at literally 1 month mark after having to personally text him frequently after daily updates were continually promised and not provided. Within the week defects were noticed including the vehicle not starting due to loose/broken battery connection to start with, next the smell of raw fuel emitting throughout the vehicle which was transporting my 5 year old at the time. Jonathan was notified of this smell and stated it was normal due to no CATS. Continued throughout the week to a non drivable state due to loud noises increasing and banging while driving. Although Jonathan did offer to take this vehicle back to fix it we obviously do not trust his care of any vehicle after receiving this jeep on this condition. Currently the jeep is residing on a lift where it was immediately discovering that there was, in fact, raw fuel leaking. The front and rear differential were opened to find multiple missing gear teeth, including at least one so far that was rattling around with the gears. Awaiting the further repairs that will be needed to get this vehicle even remotely road worthy, let alone to transport a child in.
In addition to these problems - Jonathan is highly unprofessional, lacks in communication and even hung up on me this morning during a conversation where I asked him if he would take the vehicle back and return our money. During this conversation he also offered to “bet” me in a legal document that he did not go 2 weeks without any contact or updates to us, if I won he would take the jeep back and return our money in full, if he won I would donate 1,000$ to wounded warrior foundation. I immediately noted how unprofessional of an offer this was. He also did not include the computer unit with the supercharger and we are awaiting the arrival of that as well.
I will give him this - he offered to take the jeep back and fix it. Upon initial purchasing of this jeep it was told to us that it would take 3 days for supercharger rebuild and then be sent back when in reality it was a month of realizing what a terrible mistake we had made trusting this man/his company. So why would anyone send a vehicle back to a place like this and expect correct repairs, let alone timely ones.
Do your research, find all the negative reviews hidden in the reviews that oddly state very specifically the exact opposite of the bad ones. Do not recommend to anyone. I’m sure there’s been some great vehicles so come out of this place but certainly not in this situation.

Dealt with Jonathan on a Jeep Wrangler, transaction was painless and simple with good communication. Would do business again with.

I purchased a 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ stock back in April and just imported it. While the communication wasn't the greatest, it's understandable considering just the huge backlog of Cherokees being worked on a time. No doubt, they're the best in the business. Probably even worldwide if you're in the market for a Jeep. I brought it to a shop to get a safety and the shop techs were blown away: claiming it was practically brand new and you could eat off the undercarriage. The quality is awesome. The ride is awesome. The reactions are awesome. Contrary to other peoples' experiences, mine was smooth. Again, communication wasn't the greatest, but if you have the patience, you're in for a world class Jeep. Thank you to not only Jonathan, but the entire DAS team who I didn't get to meet that worked on the truck!

Based on our experience, anyone considering purchasing from Davis Auto Sports should seriously reconsider. The Jeep we purchased was advertised with a list of parts, only half of which were actually on the Jeep when it arrived. The Jeep we bought came with leaking fuel lines, teeth missing from the gears, a missing intake filter, a boost guage that doesn't actually read boost, among many other issues I cannot remember. The quality of work they do on Jeeps is seemingly quite poor, and ours arrived as a dangerous time bomb with enough fuel leaking it could have ignited and started a fire at any moment. Be careful shopping with Davis Auto Sports and spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

Bought a Jeep from this place, it doesn't run, the rear axle gears fell out in pieces when opened up. Fuel leaks. It was a very expensive mistake, and I hope others don't get taken advantage of in the future!

It was a great experience working with the Davis Autosports team. I bought a 2004 Tacoma that looked great after having the opportunity to see in person. Jonathan was a pleasure to work with.

I am thrilled with my "new" Cherokee! I just did a long distance purchase of a DAS Stage 2 Cherokee - 2000. I was nervous about relying on video and photos only but it went smoothly. The car arrived (DAS arranged) and was exactly as described, photo'd and expected. The DAS team was helpful and responsive and worked to get me the paperwork across Christmas. The Cherokee looks great and the new engine runs smooth!

Make sure to check out their terms and conditions before buying anything from this group.
"The entire content of the above listing is simply an opinion and not factual."
Looks like they don't take accountability for anything they write or stand behind what they sell.

Truck was exactly as described!!! Delivery was about a week after we purchased the truck. Jonathan Davis replied to any questions, we had in a timely manner. Our truck was delivered without a temporary tag as we were told it would. Jonathan had someone in his office email us our paper plate the next day. We received the title paperwork by mail a week after the delivery of the truck. Would purchase from this seller again, and I just might in the near future!Ryan & Lindsay Decker

I bought this 1999 Lexus LX470 from Jonathan. He arranged shipping. When I received the vehicle I was very happy to see it was in the great shape he described it as. Jonathan was very polite and a pleasure to work with. Thanks Jonathan!

Please Read Jonathan Davis's cars are absolutely beautiful! I am in love with my brand new (2001) Stage 2 Jeep XJ. It gets compliments everywhere I take it. If you are an XJ enthusiast, Jonathan probably has you beat! He understands details about the vehicle that most people don't and can pass that knowledge to you. I am giving DAS 5 stars not because everything was perfect on arrival, but because he took the time and resources to finally make things perfect. DAS is usually very busy and you will have to be patient them, but in the end I think most people will also recommend them too. The below video, That's all mine now!
