Hylah Ballowe is incredible, if you want to work with someone at Davenport & Company, you want Hylah Ballowe. My partner and I were looking for some guidance on saving for a home. Hylah is his family's wealth manager. On our visit, she gave us great advice.Getting to Davenport & Company was a bit confusing. It's located on the eleventh floor of the James Center building. You can park in their parking lot and get your ticket validated for free parking. We had to walk some to get to the elevators. A certain set of elevators go to higher floors and another set go to lower floors. The electronic elevator floor caller wasn't very user friendly, but this is a James Center design, not Davenport & Company's.The waiting room was very comfortable. We were offered a variety of drinks (water, sodas, and coffee). We waited for about 5 minutes before being called into Hylah's beautiful office. It had a lovely view of the city and the James river. She helped us with the best savings/investing plans for our future and gave us some stock recommendations. I loved how transparent and honest she was with us. She didn't sugarcoat anything when pointing out pricing on things. I'd highly recommend working with her if you're looking to work with Davenport & Company.

Stuart Gregory with Davenport & Company is an excellent financial advisor, especially for entrepreneurs who have spent a large part of their life building a business and now want to retire. I have referred him to several clients, and they always give him a 5-star rating. Having a plan to preserve your wealth and preparing for retirement is so important, especially in today’s crazy financial world. You can rely on Stuart to listen and give you advice that’s honest and straightforward.

I called in regarding a letter offer, I received in the mail . the representative was so rude on the other line then informed me that it was a scam. Didn’t bother to ask what the letter said or who name was on it. As an employee of a business that has fraudulent letters going out. I would’ve expected more questions pertaining to the offers going out so that it can be addressed properly. Because it is someone claiming to be associated with your business.

Hylah B. Ballowe is the best! I'm dealing with a 401k from a divorce, and she is knowledgeable and was prompt with responding to my questions. Highly recommend!
