I have been using this cvs pharmacy for all my medical needs through the years & it has always gone smoothly & always kept me updated with my prescriptions. The pharmacy is great. However, it's the front of the store staff that has made me rate less than 5 stars. It always seems as if they always want to make your experience difficult when checking out. Especially when it comes to the cvs coupons. The coupons are pretty self-explanatory & I understand the store policy. I get my cvs coupons because I spend my money there. With that being said, I should be able to use my 30% off coupon on any over the counter pain relief without any problems. The representative would not honor my coupon & then showed me the policy. He wanted to be right so badly that he wasn't willing to even acknowledge his own store policy. I read that policy pertaining to what's excluded from the coupons & my purchase was 100% not excluded from being able to use my 30% off one single item in the store. I was not purchasing an "at home covid test", alcohol, cigarette/tobacco, lottery, etc. When I explained to the gentleman that I was not seeing anywhere on the policy stating my over the counter medication was excluded. He then proceeded to tell me, "I'm not doing it, but if you would like, you can try to go to another cvs that would most likely do it for you." Why should I have to go to a different CVS to honor a valid purchase with a valid coupon because the representative simply didn't want to honor it? I had nothing to say to him at that point.

11 people in line at the pharmacy and one girl working. They need to get rid of the drive through or something because they devote all their attention there l, but it’s still backed up.

Pleasant and professional staff. The people panhandling both inside and outside of the store make visiting there an unpleasant experience.

I was very pleasantly surprised by what a good non alcoholic drink (canned mocktail and NA spirits) section they had! It’s better than the NA section at almost any grocery store around here.

This CVS incorrectly billed me more than $700 after telling me a test would be covered in its entirety by insurance. Since then they have been unreachable.

I am a longtime CVS customer, faithfully responding to surveys sent after shopping. Each time, for YEARS, I have asked CVS to use its considerable influence with suppliers to provide more enviornmentally responsible packaging -- everything is in plastic and cosmetics are in pump dispensers, making use of all the product impossible. Please stop using plastic bags. You could be a national/international leader in this industry by modeling these practices.

Usually great service, but absolutely terrible in my recent experience. My meds should have been ready at 11am. I went in at 7pm and was told to wait 15 minutes for fulfillment. An hour later I was told that my meds weren’t in stock and I would need to chase it down at another CVS.

Pharmacy is the worst. I've used them for about 3 years now. If you have Chronic medical needs and meds please use any other pharmacy. Ive been told I've had co-pays when I didn't. (It truly depends on who rings you up) I've had meds on order for months... been notified prescriptions were ready when they were not. A few weeks ago I had a really judgmental encounter regarding a prescription for needle syringes. I let it slide since it was just a young tech, but today when I went to see if they got the new prescription (since the others were "too specific" to get) the pharmacist herself asked why I need them where am I injectioning.. am I getting this medicine here. Like I'm NOT an IV drug user! I explained why, but it was such an uncomfortable situation. Between the judgmental encounters, false co-pays, and weeks/months of waiting on meds I finally decided to switch.

Much like the other reviews I had an absolutely terrible interaction with the pharmacist. I have a medication I need and I was on hold for 20 minutes. Once she picked up the phone she was very rude and when I explained which medication I needed, I explained that I just needed it before the end of the day as I was traveling the next day. She told me “I just need to know the medication not you complaining”. I was in SHOCK. Who does this woman think she is??? I am stunned that she’s still employed there especially after reading the other reviews. Publix pharmacy would never. With that being said I’ll never go back EVER.

Why do you have a phone if you do not answer it? ....EVER!!!Yesterday I was on hold for 15 minutes, got dressed and drove 2 miles down the road, walked into the CVS counter and was STILL on hold.Tonight.... No better. I called in the aftetnoon with no answers. I have been on hold, this time, for 10 minutes.... No luck.This is really, REALLY irritating.

On the same day: Nov. 4th Morning.Gave me wrong address to an alternate CVS 20 minutes away to pick up a prescription they did not have on stock; with a prescription they did have in stock they gave me an opened bottle that had only half the dose in it and, was on hold for 25 min. when I hung up after arriving in person! Clearly, poor service and poor quality control!!

The pharmacist that I just spoke to over the phone was tremendously disrespectful and dismissive. I’ve been coming here and the other two ladies have been extremely pleasant but the one who assisted me today 9/22 at 3:20 pm over the phone did not have any intention to help me with my concern all the questions I would ask she wouldn’t give me a solution or attempt to figure it out. Once I tried to thank her for the little bit of information I got (from struggling to get it out of her) she hung up the phone. She has TERRIBLE customer service skills. She is bringing down the quality of your pharmacy. I wish I had a better understanding of what I should do with my situation. But it is clear that there is no intention in genuinely assisting your customers.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy of all CVS’s I have been to. Never go inside this store for a prescription or you will wait an hour in line. Never fails, every time I go into this CVS. This evening the pharmacy computers went down because an inexperienced cashier wouldn’t stop taping the computer screens. Bravo he has ruined it for everyone. Nobody can get their medication right now. I am a cancer patient so to have a pharmacist say, “I don’t know when our computers will be back up” while holding into my medication has really upset me. I’m not from Richmond so my cancer doctor had to call in my medication to this store. Never again will I step foot in this CVS!
