Kareem Latty (manager of CVS at 5001 Forest Hill Ave, Richmond VA) refused to take one of my UPS packages saying that now they have a policy that they won’t take anything that won’t fit on their shelf. It so happens that the package would definitely fit on the shelf and I even said if you want I can put it on there. He got all pissy with me and said, “you know I can also refuse to take your other package too!” I got his name and lodged the complaint with 800-shop-CVS customer relations. I’m on the verge of switching all my prescriptions over to Walgreens, which is across the street and all of my shipments to FedEx which Walgreens accepts. How do people like Kareem Latty even get a job, much less a manager position!

In 2022, a remote job I had sent a laptop to this location as a UPS access point pickup. The employees (and manager) working couldn’t be bothered to look for my package, and I nearly lost my new job from not having my equipment. I looked at the laptop box sitting on the counter and begged the manager to look at the label and she scoffed and said “I don’t think that’s for you”. A week went by and UPS finally convinced these people to look at their inventory and they discovered they put the wrong pickup tag on my box.
Fast forward 6 months later… this CVS actually filed a police report and accused me of shoplifting because the same manager who refused to release my package to me mistakenly left my self checkout transaction open (she had no idea how to use the kisosk.). I had been at this location over 50 times, was cursed out and accused of shoplifting by the same woman who made an error not finalizing the transaction, accusing me of stealing. The police came and it was a whole ordeal, had to explain I didn’t shoplift and this woman who is a manager nearly cost me a job and doesn’t know how to work her systems. Used CVS for nearly 20 years and almost faced a loss of job and a criminal charge from one particular manager here unwilling to do her job. She should be fired. I have everything videotaped but no one seemed to care.

Everyone in this place hates their jobs. I had a insurance switch, just trying to get everything together being that i’m in the military now. These are the most distasteful people I have ever came across. To me it appears they only treat people of color this way which is baffling because the pharmacy manager is of Indian descent. I have been using cvs my entire life, ive never had a bad experience until coming to this location. We should honestly do better. I will be taking my business else where.

Horrible. Sat in the drive thru for an hour. I was unable to leave due to cars being behind me and a car ahead of me. I do not recommend this cvs.

The sign on the door says the pharmacy closes at 8. Went inside at 7:30 and they were already closed.

Walked in the pharmacy right before they were closing the gate and they denied the retrieval of medication…As a patient that is picking up medication, the least you could have done was provided the medication especially since I came 30mins away to retrieve someone else medication because they needed it before going out of town which they just contacted them today about it being ready after they had to wait for it …Society have really lost the “empathy” in healthcare especially when all you had to do was give me an medication that was already done…Shame on the actual pharmacist because the pharmacy technician really wanted to get the medication

As a loyal customer, I was shocked by the treatment I received.I was browsing the store, taking my time to carefully review the coupons, which I found to be somewhat misleading. I was trying to understand them to make the best purchasing decisions. During this time, two associates approached me, seemingly to offer help. However, when I actually required assistance, they were unable to provide any meaningful support.I felt rushed to check out, and the manner in which the associates insisted on handling my items, citing the mix of small and large items as a reason, was both unnecessary and uncomfortable. It was particularly disheartening that they didn’t honor the coupons I had. This treatment left me feeling discriminated against and hastily pushed out of the store, contrary to the welcoming and inclusive environment that CVS professes to provide for its customers. The actions of these employees not only represent a failure in customer service but also raise serious concerns about racial profiling within your store.I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate actions to ensure such incidents do not recur.I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to this matter.

Spent over 30 minutes on hold trying to call in a pediatric prescription before I was hung up on by the pharmacy staff. When I called back the pharmacist told me he was too busy to take the prescription over the phone but this conversation lasted longer than it would take for him to write down the prescription. Can’t imagine how they treat their patients if this is how they treat providers.

Most incompetent pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Routinely late on prescription filling and frustrating customer service. Do better

Why is the drive through always closed? Almost seems intentional at this point. Drive thru is frequently closed, resulting in ridiculously long, slow-moving lines inside. It’s annoying and a waste of time.
