I love it because its a family run club and it feels like that, not like these mega franchise fitness centers.

Love Courtside West! Great place to play both tennis and pickleball! The staff (and players) are super friendly, and Tami is a great tennis coach. The leagues are well organized and I look forward to playing each week.

I joined for the tennis and have thoroughly enjoyed it.League play is really fun and they open early so I can get some time in with the ball machine before work.I always get a friendly greeting when I walk in the door. :-)
Family owned and operated, Courtside West is one of Richmond’s longest running Racquet Clubs with a story that started back in the late 1970s.
Designed and built in 1978 by founding partners, C. Page Highfill, AIA Emeritus (retired) and William Smith, AIA Emeritus (retired) — Courtside West has provided the Greater Richmond Area with a private, yet welcoming, indoor multiplex for racquet enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. For nearly 25 years, Page and his wife, Kate, ran Courtside West alongside a host of Richmond Tennis icons. Flash forward three generations, and Page’s two sons and grandson now operate the Club.
