I’ve used Costco Hearing Aids for 5+ years & had them cleaned by Costco every 3 months. “Not anymore,” Charles told me,, “you’re gonna have to clean them yourself. So watch me.” This is not the customer service I have received over the last 5+ years. Charles was abrupt, condescending and impatient. Icing on the cake? Another customer interrupts and says he’s here to pick up hearing aids he left for cleaning! Wait. What? I’m being harassed by Charles while another customer gets their hearing aids cleaned without hesitation. Unequal treatment and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Charles needs to find another job. Costco can deliver better service than this. I will not deal with Charles again!

Costco has become an arrogant membership merchant. They think their doing you a favor buying there.

Worse and most disappointing Costco experience EVER. Micheal and Roxy were super unprofessional and hostile. I've been a member for +7 years, and I do grocery shopping for my mom sometimes. I've never had an issue. If they don't want to let me in with her card (so I can shop for her), they check it in the BEGINNING at the entrance and tell you (as they're supposed to regarding their policy). The person checking the cards at the entrance initially let me in, and I started shopping. When I was going to the SELF-checkout, the lady that was there grabbed my phone from my hand without my permission to check my card, which they never do, especially at SELF-checkout since you're supposed to simply scan it yourself. She started making a scene and told me I needed to leave and couldn't use the online card to buy the items, which, mind you, I have been for as long as I have had the membership. After letting me inside with the same card they were now rejecting, I asked to speak to the manager, and she said it was fine. She knew if there were an issue with that, they would have had to address it at the entrance and before I was done shopping. The other employees didn't like the outcome of my conversation with the manager and kept coming to me after the manager had already approved to bother me and repeat what the manager had already told me since the manager didn't go with what they wanted. As someone who's working, they could have and SHOULD have dealt with this situation nicely and professionally compared to how they made a whole scene and approached me very hostilely while grabbing my personal items without my permission. The same lady that grabbed my cell phone from me was not acting that way and would ask for permission even to help them, so her grabbing my phone and involving herself was not okay, and she did so because she was discriminating against me for no reason. I don't understand why she felt the need to get involved when I didn't ask her for help and act like that in public and on the job. There was literally another gentleman that was complaining about how she was targeting him and bothering him as well. Like chill out Roxy!! Micheal too

I finally caved and got a Costco membership, best decision I've made in a long time. They have a huge selection to choose from and they have the best prices for pull-ups and diapers. I will probably be visiting this location once a week going forward. The checkout process is very quick and easy as well.

Overall every Costco has been great but in particular I need to single out the hearing department at this Costco especially the hearing tech James - outstanding service - knowledgeable- patient ! We left there with great working hearing aides and fully understood how they worked. Don't go anywhere else for hearing aides. Price is great, devices are excellent quality and service is superb.

Our local CostCo on Mall Dr is the best around. Large store with ample parking. Associates are friendly and helpful. Cashiers are quick and I very often see the various employees working together to help each other or to help the customers. The warehouse/store is always clean as is the parking lot. I've shopped here for years and have never had a bad experience or left with anything unsatisfactory from my visit. The gas station is also bright and clean (and everything always works!). I've had to call on the attendant on a few occasions for help and found then super nice and ready to help. Zero complaints for the Chesterfield CostCo.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Costco! I am a newfound Costco fan girl. I am even in a Costco group on Facebook. Yep, this is 30. So, now that I am indoctrinated into the Costco groups, I have discovered so many gems. Literally, a membership is only $60 a year and it is SO worth it. I have changed my eating habits recently and let me tell you, Costco has some great options for folks who are gluten free or low carb. So many amazing meats, high quality brands, toiletries, medicines, clothing items, toys, oven ready meals, etc. This is one of the places where I know that I can trust the brands that they sell because everything is high quality. The gas is also a power buy. That's why there's always a line! All of the employees are so nice and very helpful. I've heard that Costco treats their employees well and you can tell by interactions with them. The best part is that Costco is on Instacart. Whenever I need something and am too busy to leave the house, I can still have my costco goodies delivered to me at the push of a button. Love that for me. Basically, you need to get a membership to costco. Don't walk; run!

Since I was in the area, I stopped at this Costco. There is a large selection of Paleo/keto/vegan/gluten-free items here, more than I have seen at any other Costco. I'm looking forward to trying a few new things I picked up here. The layout of the store is a bit different than what I am used to, but it still has a nice walk up food bar. Contactless ordering and payment is available at kiosks. Gas is very reasonable for the times at $2.81 a gallon on July 9, 2021. Restrooms and store are very clean and orderly.

They always stop selling things people like to buy, so we then order on line from someone else. Most of the cashiers are rude and rush you then don't offer you a box to carry your items in.-- 3 stars.

This is about the tire center. This is where I have been going for a few years now. Great service, and they are always helpful. They are open during his pandemic and hat is so important. You can park near their bay doors and enter through their service door instead of the main Costco door where you have to wait in line. No waiting in line with the side door! Good prices and tire warranty also

This 5 star is for the amazing independent eye doctor. Maria Steinleitner OD around the side of Costco. She is so personable. This office is not running a patient line. Each person is treated as an individual and given personal care and treatment. If she can fit you in she does everything possible. Richmond has quite a gem in this Doctor!

Nothing but good stuff to say about this store. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Even when packed the lines move fast and they seem good at having the right number of registers open. I recently used the optical center for the first time - they have a great staff there too and a good deal on quality glasses. Should have done that sooner rather than online glasses. Got tires there for the first time today, had an appointment and was done in 40 minutes. So far so good on the new tires and a significant savings over what I usually pay and it comes w free rotations and hazard warranty, both huge plusses. There's just nothing to complain about this location of Costco.

Actually enjoy shopping at Costco -- the staff is helpful and they expedite the check-out lanes which is a big help for people in a hurry. Also enjoy the remodeled fast-food and pizza for a quick bite after shopping.

My husband got hearing aids here a couple of months ago. The staff is very friendly and generally helpful. The cost is very good. My comments are directed at information you may not get when you get your hearing aids. First, if you are at all active, they can come out. If they do fall out, they are difficult to find, especially on a work site. There are apps that you can download to your phone that will help you find them. However, you have to activate the app before you lose one! Definitely have the staff there put the app on your phone and connect the aids to the app. Again, if you are a working guy or gal, there are restraint cords for your hearing aids, like Chums or Croakies for your eyeglasses but less obtrusive. Get one. It could save your hearing aid. These are the lessons learned after my husband lost a hearing aid, and now has to use his one free replacement. The staff may not inform you of these options, and likely will not offer to help you with them. Be an informed customer and help the staff give you what you need.
