I found Christopher Flowers online and chose them because of their high customer ratings. I ordered flowers for our daughter-in-law, which I picked out online on their website. I chose a bouquet called "Symply Sensational", which is the picture below. The price was $95.94 "as shown", which then I upgraded for an additional $10 to the larger bouquet they refer to as "Bettera".
The flowers were delivered this morning, no issue with that, and as you can see from the second photo attached, the flowers do look pretty. BUT, the bouquet is half the size of the picture they show on the internet, which is also supposed to be the regular size, and before I paid more to have it even fuller and larger.
I called the shop to share the news, and a very nice young lady put me on hold and said she'd check with the owner. She came back and apologized, and said that they did use some more expensive flowers in my bouquet, which likely affected the size. I'm not sure about that, as the flowers look very similar to the picture on the internet, just a lot smaller. She said that because of the issue, the owner would be happy to refund me $20 or send some additional flowers to my daughter-in-law. I thought that was fair, and said that I'd take the discounted price. She said no problem, and hung up.
I just saw my credit card was credited $10.60. WTH? So, here's why I didn't give them a 1-star review:
- The flowers themself are very nice, you can see that in the picture.
- They acknowledged the mistake, and offered a solution, which is better than most companies these days.
BUT, the flowers were definitely not what I ordered, and paid extra for.... and if you're going to offer someone a discount, try actually giving them what you said on the phone.

I received a beautiful arrangement from here on my birthday in October from my best friend, so I decided to use them for an expression of Sympathy for a family member.

I called Christopher two hours before a funeral service that I had dropped the ball on. All the way from GA, he beyond accommodated my needs! Awesome customer service and if you’re in the Richmond area and need an arrangement, I would 10/10 recommend Christopher! He sends you an emailed receipt as well as an email when your arrangement is out for delivery with a photo. He does a beautiful job!

I've passed by your business many times, not due to a lack of interest, but because I didn't need flowers then. However, when I needed a corsage for my son's homecoming at short notice, Google led me to you. Other businesses couldn't accommodate me, but when I called, your immediate response was, "Yes, I can make it for you," and it was ready in thirty minutes. I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful service in our city, and I will certainly return.
