It'd be great if the staff was a little bit nicer and they didn't WRITE ON THE BOOKS

Everything you are looking for at your average thrift store. Profits go to a good charity as well.

No fitting room. Clothes are not organized. Too expensive.

Terrible service! Rude staff! Out of the MANY times that I have visited this thrift store, they have never greeted me, not once. The prices are rather high for a thrift store, and to top things off, there are NO fitting rooms available, so if you buy something that ends up not working out, you wasted your hard earned money. If you are out thrifting, I'd recommend to skip this terrible place all together and head to the Goodwill in Gay Avenue, just about a 5 minute drive from the CHKD. At this Goodwill they actually do have good customer service, as well as fitting rooms and restrooms, unlike the CHKD.

This thrift store had a pair of lamps priced at $850 with their justification being that they are listed on Charish for $1750. I understand that thrift stores are do not like resellers paying little and then flipping the item. However just because an item is listed online for something does not mean the seller will get that amount. Furthermore charish is known for being notoriously expensive (3-4x as mush as ebay or etsy)Additionally resellers are up to date on what's trending and in demand which these lamps are not. This is not a curated space. If you want to open a boutique or an antique store do that. There is a reason they are still available online and at the thrift, they're not what people are into at the moment. Lastly I would like to say resellers create their prices by looking at SOLD comps. Thrift stores do not know the ins and out of reselling so they just see an item listed and see dollar signs. However basing a price is only accurate if you are basing it on simlar items that have SOLD not what is currently listed. I could open a charish account and list a pot for 600 doesnt mean its worth it. Then a thrift store will see my listing and list the same pot for $300?My advice to thrifts who want to be curated vintage spaces: refer to sold items for an accurate value then base your price off of that. You need to measure and note any flaws, clean it, and if you want ebay pricing just list it on ebay and do the work that comes with that. ( photographing, measuring, writing descriptions, and shipping)

I don’t know how the people who price the items here sleep at night. A used ottoman for $80? Used boots for $70? A used vacuum for $500? A pair of resin lamps for $849??!!! Yes, you read that right. This is NOT an upscale antique store or botique. THIS IS A THRIFT STORE.They look up every single item that they re-sell so that they can charge as much for it as possible. Every shirt, priced individually. Every cup. The items here are junk that sit on the shelves forever because for the most part they’re too expensive for people to purchase. Every time I come here I leave angry.

The prices are OUTRAGEOUSLY OVERPRICED. CHKD is supposed to be all about the kids. I really got the impression that this location does not care about whether or not the stuff just sits there for a while over the prices being to high. I have watched people walk in & leave empty handed because everything was priced outrageously high. I unfortunately left empty handed. Once upon a child & goodwill at this point is ALOT cheaper then this store location. I initially, came in to purchase newborn baby clothing & this location actually had a lot of baby clothes but unfortunately the prices on the used baby clothes were far from reasonable. I wanted to purchase a few pieces but couldnt justify the price & put it back.

Clean and nice staff but clothes are not organized by size. Do the folks here not know how to count? Weird. Once I asked him was told no clothing items were organized I just left so I didn't get anything

Furniture prices often start out high, but they get marked down regularly. Good pricing on other items, and they mark everything down regularly. The store always has a large inventory. Not the cleanest place. All items in the store are 25% off every Tuesday.

I got a few books for under $2 each. I didn’t look at my receipt until we were in the car but I was charged 10 times more than what a small brownie pan costs which was 69 cents. They price items with dollars and cents and the pan clearly had 69 written under it. I wouldn’t have otherwise payed $7 for a used brownie pan. Everything is final sale.

Variety of items to go through to find a must have piece for your closet! There is even a wall of shoes! Everyone is guaranteed to find a few things they'd love to take home with them.

I've visited this store multiple times and have found nice things there. I like too travel to different thrift shops because you will never know what you may found. Just go for the adventure.
