Mark A. Palmgren met with my friend and I week before last. An appointment to establish value on two sets of pearls is what we thought we were there for, but we also received quite and education on pearls. The pearls didn't turn out to have the value my friend was hoping for, but Mark's time and talent... and his courteous professionalism delivered such an unexpected value that we left feeling very okay with the results, and an appreciation for the asset he is to Carreras Jewelers. It's the people representing that make or break a business... case in point, we had an appointment prior with another jeweler on Broad that also starts with a C. The guy presented as polished in his flashy expensive suit... like the fine gems he's repping. But we discovered he offered no depth of value and was quite quick and quite rude to us. So we will never repeat... much less refer any business to that other C Jeweler on Broad Steet.

I had a wonderful experience working with Sally Ashby at Carreras Jewelers. She always knows what we are looking for and doesn’t oversell. Sally is very personable and is a joy to work with.The jewelry is amazing also.

Carreras is a great jeweler! They have a large inventory of attractive items and are most willing to get something special if they do not have what you like in stock. They have also remade pieces for me. I always deal with Sally who is not only very knowledgeable but also is an extremely pleasant person to work with. I highly recommend Carreras!

I cannot pay enough compliments to Carreras Jewelers for a variety of reasons. Carreras is an AGS certified jewelry store (Which means they practice the moral and ethical values of the American Gem Society), which was a huge factor to my fiance and me when shopping for the right diamond and engagement ring setting. They have a Certified Gemologist, Tammie, who is excellent and walked us seamlessly through the diamond selection process. We had all of our questions answered (and we had a lot because we are very detail oriented people). Our salesperson Sally was extremely knowledgeable, diligent in helping us explore various settings and was very warm, genuine and fun to work with! We never felt rushed, which was important to us. At the end of the engagement ring selection process my fiance and I were absolutely thrilled with the finished product!! The setting is from one of the fabulous designers they work with, Peter Storm. My ring is both magnificent and unique! We could not be more grateful to Carreras for being so wonderful in every way in the design of our forever ring and capturing the moment so beautifully! Since our engagement & marriage a few years ago, we have had two amazing, healthy children thank God! My sweet husband has been back to Carreras to mark these special occasions for me in the way of a gorgeous piece of jewelry to celebrate each child. We are lifelong patrons and I would encourage anyone to shop for all of their jewelry desires there! You will be impressed! ~Bonney
