We have to say thanks to Safford Brown’s team in Richmond, especially to Kevin , his loan wizard and Quincy the family guy haha. They took care of us and blessed us with a steal on the 2021 Jeep Compass 80th anniversary edition. The mileage was good, it used to be
a rental so you know the cares were A grade. The leather inside is top tier , the whip got some power in it and ride smooth. And wait we are not finished, the rate was OMG ! ! !

I recently had the pleasure of working with Eric and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. When I arrived for the appointment, Eric was friendly and interested in helping me find the right car. I really appreciated how he made the extra effort to have a car brought in from another location, just to make sure I had the exact car I wanted. On the day the car arrived, despite it being a long day, Eric stayed late to make sure everything was perfect and I could drive home in my car that same evening. His positivity and willingness to help explain the process was also greatly appreciated. I also want to give a shoutout to Quincy in finance who was a joy to work with, even after he had a long day as well. Both Eric and Quincy made an often stressful experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. Highly recommend!

The worst place to get your car fixed. My husband and I went there for a simple oil change how is it that we ended up paying almost $400 ??? They did a diagnostic on our car that we weren't aware of how much was and they just added to our bill. They never told us a price of it and of course we had to pay it because we needed to get our car out of there. When we leave we called them back and the guy Karl literally lied on us saying that he did told us how much was for a diagnosis when in reality the price NEVER CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH very bad customer service with hidden fees and charges. Please be careful and make sure they let you know you prior HOW MUCH IS for everything they do in your car

Karl sneaks in prices and was not upfront about a diagnosis fee. I had intentions of using a coupon for a cheaper oil change why would I agree to be charged for a diagnosis if my intentions are to pay for something cheaper? If he told me that there was a charge for a diagnosis I would’ve told them no. I was told by Karl that with a state inspection that they run diagnosis and would tell me what’s wrong with it anyways and I said okay. Never did he tell me about a price.

This place put my faith back in the car buying experience. I worked with Eric Breddard to trade in my very pre-loved car and get a used one. I also went as a woman by myself and this was my last stop on a really long journey of jerky, sleazy, rude dealerships and really pushy experiences. I wish I had found this dealership and Eric sooner. He (and the entire business) was both extremely down to earth and understanding of my price point- also totally willing to work with me to get the car I was after. I made it clear that I didn’t want them to shop around on my credit and they didn’t. They found me the best deal. Their finance department is fantastic! It was also exactly the car I wanted when I first started looking. I didn’t have to settle but also didn’t get myself into something I couldn’t comfortably afford. Eric went out of his way to bring me a car from a partnering dealership in Fredericksburg on the SAME day without me signing or agreeing to anything beforehand. You are hard pressed to find another business willing to show up for you like that. Eric’s professionalism and knowledge was supportive, not coercive and I will be going back for my next purchase- although they got me into something great so I won’t need to for a long time. Big gratitude for their whole operation for treating me like a human and getting me into exactly what I wanted! Work with them, you won’t regret it.

The staff at Stafford Brown made my first ever car buying experience incredible. Keegan, the sales manager I was speaking to was extremely polite, professional, and informative. My car was originally at a sister dealership 4 hours away, and they went as far as going out there and bring it so I could test drive it. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the one. Not only were they extremely accommodating they made sure to make the entire experience stress-free and really made me feel confident in such a major life event. Once I was confident and ready to sign, they made sure to get me exactly what I wanted in a timely manner I was in and out without any hassle or pushy feelings. Without a doubt I will recommend all my close friends and family members to not only Keegan but the entire Stafford Brown Volkswagen Center.

We had a good experience. Salesmen
was nice amd finance manager was friendly. But whoever dropped the car off to my house smoked in the car. It reaked of cigarettes!! I have kids and I don't need my car smelling like that. It did not smell at all when we test drove it. The smell made me sick. Really disappointed about this. I spent alot on this car now I have to get the smell out. This ruined the entire experience

The service department is the worse experience ever. I had an issue which wasn't the first time and the service manager not only did not have empathy he didn't apologize. I dropped my car off 7:30am hour early than my appointment and was the only car there. I didn't wait with the car and they pulled the car in at 4pm. The service tech was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional to say the least. I had to have a conversation with the manager who is over the dealership and my car is still not working the problem can not be fixed from what I was told so I'm stuck with the issue with the radio and media. The manager over the dealership was sympathetic and did his best to fix it with me. The sales team knock it out the park though.

What a joke! Please do not purchase a car here. Not only can they not keep staff but they can’t keep their paperwork straight! My daughter’s car was NASTY with cigarette holes. Asked for detailing twice made appointment, dropped off car. When she picked it up it was in the same condition it was when she left it.
My co-worker purchased a car; they mishandled the paperwork and because she moved out of STATE THEY ARE REPOING THE CAR??? The first payment hasn’t been made? They claim she couldn’t prove income source??? She is under contract until the 31st of JULY!! Are you kidding me. They are liars and clueless. They don’t deserve to represent Volkswagen. The BBB is now involved as well as lawyers. What a mess.
