Word to the wise. Took our daughters Mini Cooper to Crown Mini for a check engine light. They quoted us an amount. I then wanted to verify/confirm that it was all encompassing and called up Bimmer Rescue and they did a second look for free along with a free health inspection of the vehicle since we had just bought it. On their list they confirmed what Crown Mini said. Their list included items that were Good, some were not required at the moment and then about 4 to 5 items that were required. Those required items lined up with what Crown Mini said. My husband and I talked to Skip and we moved ahead with repairs of ALL required items costing a certain amount. Through our conversation I kept asking - this is for ALL required correct? Because I wanted to make sure. The car a week later is ready for pick up, and I ask again for an invoice that includes a description of all the repairs for my records. Lo and behold, Bimmer Rescue repaired only two items from the required list. Mind you they weren’t even the items that would have stopped the car from working. I call Skip and and ask about it and he saying that’s all they fixed for that amount. So I ask how much it would be to fix the main thing that could stop the car from running and he quoted $2900. For a water pulley and belt. Which they confirmed from Crown Minis inspection. Which Crown Mini was willing to fix for $500 according to their invoice. Why would Bimmer charge an exorbitant amount is beyond me. A couple days later after bringing the car home, it starts leaking oil! I checked our cameras from before we took the car to Bimmer and there were no oil stains. So again I call Skip and ask pretty much - what the hell?? I ended up taking the car to Crown Mini to fix the water pulley and belt - which they fixed for $500 by the way, and I asked them to look over Bimmer Rescues work. There was oil everywhere from a loose bolt that had not been tightened! they did the work then didn’t clean up after themselves. Oil all around the engine and underneath plus the loose bolt that was causing the oil leak. If that isn’t shady as hell. Because Bimmer didn’t repair everything they said they would, we ended up paying more to them than we would have at Crown Mini for the same service. Crown Mini cleaned up the car from all of the oil and tightened the bolt. They fixed the most important thing that would have stopped the car from running. Bimmer gave us a cute little health inspection sheet with no prices. So we , unfortunately, went off Skips word of what was getting fixed. I feel that Bimmer took advantage of folks that didn’t know much about cars by doing this then thought we would be dumb enough to have them do it again. By not providing a listing of prices and what would be repaired with a total amount , that’s dishonest on their part. So if they can’t provide that to you - I would reconsider getting work done by them. Also, being quoted an amount that was nearly five times more was ridiculous. I’m not sure what the hell he was thinking when he did that.
So word to the wise and moral of the story. Beware of the smooth talking Skip. Get an invoice BEFORE payment with all the things they will fix and a total price. They did not do that for us and took advantage. So maybe Crown Mini charges a bit more but you know what I rather pay for the work quoted than to listen to some hoodlum who’s just there for the money talk us into half-work and then on top of that leave us with what could have been more shadiness on their part had I taken the car back to them. Who knows what he would have said was wrong with the car through the oil leak. For all I know - they did loosen the bolt on purpose. Because thinking back on it- Skip was quick to say - bring it back today! And we can get this squared away. Shame on you Bimmer. SMH.

If you are serious about your car, this is where you start. Work done right, solid communication, well thought out after hours drop off and pick up plus they warranty their work as long as you own the car. I bought a seriously neglected BMW w great potential and tried two neighborhood shops: neither was up to the task and worse, neither would say it. After wasted time and money I moved on to the pros at Bimmer Rescue. They gave me the good w the bad, corrected 2 previous owners worth of bad maintenance and best of all, now we have a plan to totally "unclapp" this ride and keep it running RIGHT for years to come.

I came in with emergency before road trip . Skip provided great service - worked me in in less than 24 hours, ordered part, installed and came in under estimate !

Great people, service friendly, give you full details of your vehicle. Transparent and good at what they do. They seem to be based on my experience honest and good at their jobs. What more could a person ask for? Friendly…it is icing on the cake!
And you get that here too!

I woke up the other day with a warning light in my Audi Q5 that the coolant level was low, popped the hood and sure enough it was low. I called Bimmer Rescue and explained the situation to the manager Skip, he calmly explained a few possible scenarios, the cost to do a pressure check and offered me a loaner immediately while they fit me in that same day. Later that day Skip informed me of the work needed and pricing in a very patient and non-pushy manner. I agreed to proceed and my car was done the next day at 12:30pm! Having two small children and a career can certainly make car troubles stressful in the middle of the week but Skip alleviated all of the stress for me by listening to what I needed, being patient, and offering the loaner. My life was minimally interrupted and my car was fixed in around 24 hours which is beyond what I could ask for. I felt the pricing was very fair (it was several hundred dollars less than what Audi quoted), the work was done VERY efficiently and the customer service and care was top notch. I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation and plan to go back anytime I need work done. Thanks Skip and Bimmer Rescue!

A+ customer service!
In my opinion, Bimmer Rescue is the #1 repair shop!!! My X3 went in with a "drivetrain malfunction" error and came out running as smooth and as snappy as ever. I am deeply grateful for their (Skip and Allen) willingness to talk through the plan that got my "ultimate driving machine" back on the road. Not only did Skip listen to my concerns, but he also explained the issues and offered repair alternatives in a professional and transparent manner. Skip didn't over explain or "dummy down" terms or process as some repair shops do when speaking with women. I left the chat with Skip, feeling heard as our chat gave me the insight I needed to make an informed decision about my vehicle. I can not say enough about this team. Give them a try. You will not regret it. Kudos to you, Bimmer Rescue!
