I went in to get a pedicure and everything was going phenomenal, the young women doing the services were so kind and welcoming, until the male manager walked up to where we were sitting and made a hateful comment about religion stating “All religion is dumb, and anyone who believes in it is also dumb”. As a Christian woman, I felt attacked and disrespected by this statement and found it utterly unprofessional. I played along to keep the peace, but I am appalled at how a business can condone this kind of behavior. I will not be returning and I will advise others to avoid this place at all costs. I hope he learns to conduct himself respectfully in the future.Service: Pedicure

When my regular salon closed, I switched to Atir. They do great work and I would otherwise give them five stars but I'd like the ability to schedule appointments with a specific person.

Today was my first time here and I had an absolutely fantastic experience. I loved the rapport among the staff members and had a good time joking and chatting with the employees and clients alike. I opted for a natural finish and my nails look lovely. The place smelled great and I loved all of their products. Will definitely be back regularly!Service: Manicure

Went in for a $55 Pedi with Glamour at the Cary Street location, my first visit to an ATiR shop. Although the services are expensive, I was willing to pay more to be pampered. I usually find a pedicure to be very relaxing, but not today. My Technician was in a great rush. At one point she turned to get polish without looking and knocked it onto the floor, where it spilled. My pedicure and nail polish lasted only 30 minutes, and I was done before the ladies on either side of me, both of whom arrived before I did. I found the overall experience to be stressful and pampering nonexistent. I will not go back.

All I can say is WOW! First time here, I felt pampered, not rushed and really educated about my nails. The staff is very friendly! I will be making all my appointments from now on with ATIR!

This was my first time at this location. I've been to the one on Carey previously. I came to this one because I appreciate the salon's philosophy and the Carey location didn't have any appointments available. There is a huge difference is the service and customer experience. I do not recommend this location and will wait the week next time to get a proper pedicure.Service: Pedicure

The ONLY place to get your mani pedis. Staff is very diverse, friendly, informative, and treat you like an old friend. services are top notch, and products will change your natural nail game. I enjoy having healthy natural nails, and feel like I have a better understanding of how nails work. Services and products are very reasonable but even better, my first time was free. Definitely get pink file, nailtrition, scrub, and pm cream. My hands have never been softer! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Try it for yourself!!!Services: Foot massages

This has been the hardest review to write, I never like to leave negative feedback. When we tried this establishment we were excited that it was all natural! We were a small group of 3, and we scheduled an appointment in advance as recommended- especially since they offer your first manicure with them for free. We were told to pick a chair at the bar, the young man there told my daughter she had to take off her nail polish. The manicurist asked me what shape I liked. From then on she didn't say another word. A young lady attended quickly to my guest, while my daughter sat there waiting for someone to approach her. I did let someone know her polish was off. Our guest received full explanation of their process and what they were doing, my manicurist still has not said a word. I did chime in to what our guest's manicurist was saying and inquire who would be attending to my daughter. All information about this establishment we learned by eavesdropping on our guest's manicurist. At the end we were told that we had to be the ones to put a top coat on our nails the next day and maintain our cuticles between manicures. I am disappointed that if we were to pay for the lid manicure it would have been $30 each. Also, they do not offer the free manicure to anyone under the age of 18- they don't want that offer getting out incase girls prepping for prom will just go there for the free offer. My heartbreak is that ( maybe coincidence) we learned EVERYTHING about the manicure process by eavesdropping on our guest's session who is Caucasien, I and my daughter are Pacific Islander. We received "second hand" service.

Overpriced. Overrated. Unprofessional. Paid $50 to have a someone clearly inexperienced, uninformed and unequipped. For the price point, I did not anticipate such hand-holding would be needed: "please cut the nail here, you forgot to clean under the nail, did you get that side done, etc". Save your hard earned money and take it to a place were you will actually receive what you pay for.The reply from Brittany implies that my issue was a medical related, I want to emphasize that was NOT the case. The numerous times I had to ask the "certified technician" to actually trim, clean and properly cut my nail were in vain and she clearly lacked confidence and experience. In any case, I stand by my review and experience and will not be coming back to your business, as I can take my $50 and spend it where I'll actually get my money's worth.

This place is all about getting your natural nail back to healthy nails. They use all natural products that smell and feel amazing! They treat/pamper you like a princess & walk you through the process when it's your first time so you know how to take care of your nails. You can purchase most if not all the products they use! Love this place!

I love Atir and would highly recommend them to someone looking for natural nail care services BUT I would not go to the short pump location. I had a terrible experience. The young lady that did my pedicure, and started my manicure, was incredibly unprofessional and rude. She hurt my foot during the pedicure and was barely apologetic. She scolded me during the manicure and some how filed my nails down jagged and entirely too close taking skin off on the tip of one finger. All and all my manicure looks like I took my time and did it myself. With that being said I would highly recommend the Cary st location. The service that I received at the Cary st location is polar opposite from the short pump location. Everyone there was super nice, very professional and personable. I left with a flawless manicure and pedicure. The best mani and pedi that I had ever had.Services: Manicures
