ATIR is, by far, the best nail salon in Richmond and beyond. The ladies are professional and really good at what they do. The management is wonderful, Brittany and Erin I’m talking about you, and I’m so spoiled with ATIR’s outstanding work that I could never go anywhere else. Rachel did my manicure today and it was perfect! Mary did my manicure last week and it was unbeatable! All of the ladies are terrific! Thank you!!!

I ve been a regular customer at Atir shortpump for 19 years and always enjoy my appointments. They hire quality staff. who become family when seeing them every couple weeks. The place is very very clean, and they use the best quality products. I love that they focus on natural nail health and not just slapping polish on and cutting cuticles. They only work on natural nails. No acrylics or powder dips or nail art at this place. If you are looking for a pedicure that is mostly a massage, and polish, then this place is not for you. This is not what I want when having a pedicure. They will spend a full hour ensuring that toenails and feet are maintained, remove ingrown toe nails, sugar scrub feet, smooth callouses, shape toenails, patch broken toenails which I often have, lightly massage feet and legs, and of course apply quality products and polish. None of the pedicure services have up-charges. Try them out. First manicure is complimentary if you live in the area.

I have been to this nail salon many times! I have never before had such a difficult time getting in. If you are not a weekly customer then forget about getting an appointment. I called for an appointment for a manicure with paraffin dip for my severely arthritic hands and fingers and a pedicure prior to having a major surgery coming up. Whoever answered the phone in the Short Pump store asked "when would you like to come in?" (why ask this question if there is nothing available). When I told her preferably sometime in the current week, her response was rude, ugly and said "nope, nothing available." I asked when would something be available her reply was "we are two weeks out...but I can put you on a cancellation wait list. " ??? Excuse me, I prefer a reasonable time period and would like an appointment to my schedule, not theirs. (one has too many appointments to work around with all the appointments prepping for surgery) I said "just forget it, I'll go elsewhere." Apparently, this salon is getting too big for their britches, and cannot manage scheduling well. And I really, really don't care for the owner/manager. He is apparently better than anyone else per his demeanor.

My nails always look amazing when I leave. They only work with natural nails, so you don’t have to put up with the horrible smell of traditional nail salons. The only thing that I would change is to offer an unscented paraffin option for the moisture maintenance service. Also, I see a lot of reviews saying that their first manicure was free, I definitely paid for my first one. I’m not sure if that’s something they still offer or not, so maybe ask before making your first appointment?

Been a customer for 10 years. I come weekly. Appointments are a must and make them well in advance. Books up fast. One of a kind nail experience. I have never found any place like it. No fake nails! The sugar scrubs are homemade and absolutely the best. Same with the foot cream. Brittany and Nikki are the best. Super customer service focused. First time there get a moisture maintenance treatment for free. You will be hooked!

I have gone to Atir for quite a few years but I am done. A few weeks ago I had a terrible pedi. The gal who did it was not up to the standards… all the people who had been there were gone including Travis the owners son and I don’t buy the story I got. It is not the same place it was not relaxing or good as it had been and sadly I am done. I didn’t like the way the manager (owners daughter) responded to my discomfort and for the price it is no longer worth it. Oh and this was not the first bad experience it was the second since Travis left. They lost the good thing they had.. sad

I went in to get a pedicure and everything was going phenomenal, the young women doing the services were so kind and welcoming, until the male manager walked up to where we were sitting and made a hateful comment about religion stating “All religion is dumb, and anyone who believes in it is also dumb”. As a Christian woman, I felt attacked and disrespected by this statement and found it utterly unprofessional. I played along to keep the peace, but I am appalled at how a business can condone this kind of behavior. I will not be returning and I will advise others to avoid this place at all costs. I hope he learns to conduct himself respectfully in the future.Service: Pedicure

A really clean and high quality nail salon. If you are looking for a clean and chemical free salon this is it! They don't use strong chemicals and their products are made by the company. Its really neat!! They also teach you about nail care. Fair warning!! They do not take off dip or gel you should go in with having nothing on the nails as they don't have anything to take off those types of products.

When my regular salon closed, I switched to Atir. They do great work and I would otherwise give them five stars but I'd like the ability to schedule appointments with a specific person.

Today was my first time here and I had an absolutely fantastic experience. I loved the rapport among the staff members and had a good time joking and chatting with the employees and clients alike. I opted for a natural finish and my nails look lovely. The place smelled great and I loved all of their products. Will definitely be back regularly!Service: Manicure
