This company is amazing!!! Art went above and beyond to help my family! Not only did he help us get a new machine when my dad’s died from another company that wouldn’t answer my calls, he set me up with a wonderful and caring technician, Mitchell. He was prompt with phone calls, walked me through setting up the machine as my father does not remember due to his Parkinson’s and Dementia, and gave me his card for anything we might have questions about other future! I highly recommend this company!

Their customer service(especially the Richmond, VA office) is absolutely horrible. Rarely do I encounter a combination of incompetence, ignorance and apathy to that extent. I needed a replacement for my cpap machine (which they had provided me). First they said they needed a doctor's prescription. I had a handwritten prescription and they said they could not accept that and needed the doctor to fax it to them. I got my doctor to send it. They did not contact me after that and when I called they said they needed doctor's notes. I got my doctor to send them that. I again did not hear anything and followed up on my own. They said they needed the sleep study report. I asked them why they needed it since they are the ones who gave me the original cpap machine so they should have the report. They said they don't have it and need it. I explained to them that I have a non working cpap machine(which they had provided) and my health is being endangered but they kept repeating they need the sleep study report and made no effort to find the documents they had for the original cpap machine. I got my doctor to send them the report and again did not hear anything from them and when I followed up they said they got the titration sleep study but needed the baseline study. I asked them why they did not contact me and they blithely said they don't contact the patient. After three months, they left a voicemail for me which I am not returning because I got a new sleep study done and found another supplier. Posting this to warn anyone else who may be considering apria for their durable medical equipment - beware.

I was referred to these people as a source for CPAP supplies. Every contact with this company is an exercise in frustration and face-palming incompetence. Questions aren't accurately answered. You can't buy individual headgear from them that fit your head; you can only buy a package that contains the face gear with whatever headgear has been packaged with it. Supplies take up to ten days to be delivered. No, they can't supply you with an order number for your order until it's shipped out. Etc., etc. I honestly cannot understand how they've managed to stay in business. Don't help them.

My experience was Excellent. I received a very clear explanation of how to set my CPap machine up at home. Everything is working well. I had no trouble getting started. It is easy to put the headgear on. At first the nosepiece seemed like a foreign object on my face but after a few nights of wearing it it is perfectly comfortable. Thanks! My sleep has improved dramatically.

Service was fine. Received CPAP machine really quick, but was told that they sent out units that were on hand vice sending out the newest model. Conveniently, they were out of ResMed AirSense 11s and sent me the older model AirSense 10. While it works fine, it doesn't have the latest features.

My doctor ordered my CPAP at the end of October and again at the end of November. It is now the middle of December and I still haven’t heard from Apria. They kind of suck.

It took over one month for me to get my sleep apnea machine. Transferred to voicemail that was never answered. Insurance issues, took forever to resolve. Thankfully the head gear and machine are very comfortable.

While on a road trip, we realized my mother forgot her CPAP mask. We were frustrated given the circumstances and reaching a live person locally was challenging (as our local calls continued to be routed to the main call center and forwarded to no avail). We located a branch a few miles from our hotel and took the chance they could direct us. Mitchell Rosenbloom at the Richmond location (2808 E. Parham Ave) was amazingly helpful. He gave us the information we needed, quickly and accurately. We were able to secure an emergency mask and return to our road-trip with additional delay. Grateful for Mitchell’s help.
