This concert with Anthony Hamilton was so dope, phenomenal, and some. He was amazing as he mingled with a crowd, something you don't see often. Give give him a 15 not a 10.

Just enjoyed Shucked. GT G. If you like adult humor, southern accents, and double entendre this is the musical for you. It really is great. A love story where a man from Tampa finds redemption. You can't spell Tampa without T and A. I haven't experienced this much twang since I doubled up on viagra but just as enjoyable. Altria Theater is like what you say to corn just before eating it. See you soon.

We always have great seats. Since moving from northern Virginia we have a new place to enjoy culture. We have the Altria Theater in Richmond. Better accommodations, lots of inexpensive parking, easy in and out, and entertainment equal to any in DC or New York. Richmond abounds with culture and American history.

We moved here from a much smaller area, Greenville SC. We were expecting more... but the theater is old and cramped. Nice mind you, just less. The big surprise was the cattle call when the show was done. Wow.

This is the main theater in Richmond for Broadway shows and other performances. While it’s a beautiful theater with amazing shows, I’m always left disappointed with both the acoustics and seating. The floors aren’t sloped enough so people’s heads are constantly in the way and I find myself moving back and forth to see the whole stage. Recently I saw Shucked (great show!) and I literally could not understand about 15% of the words because of muffled/poor acoustics. I’ve been in theaters all my life and this is by far one of the worst (of prominent ones), unfortunately. If you don’t live IN Richmond and have the chance to see the same shows elsewhere, I recommend traveling to Blumenthal or Kennedy Center for a better experience.

Seats are a little tight for us bigger people but shows are very enjoyable. Pretty much any seat is a good seat.

While the venue itself is nice, the staff fantastic, the seats leave something to be desired but you can't really take that against it. Definitely a great place for a performance and the stairs lead to numerous paths up and down. Good venue for performances! Also very conveniently next to a parking garage that has people there for big events. I enjoyed my time here!

Went to see Book of Mormon. It was excellent. I have some mobility issues and staff was phenomenal. They escorted us to an area where they procured me a chair so we could wait for our friend to arrive with the tickets. Both of us needed some assistance to get down the stairs to our seats. Once again staff was phenomenal assisting us to our seats. Couldn’t have asked for better. BTW the popcorn is good too.
