I stopped in on my way back to go south to get rest after visiting family an hour away. The room is comfortable and budget friendly. The lady at the front desk was very nice to me. If I get to visit here in Virginia again I most likely will stay here again. It's convenient for gas and shopping.
Walkability: There's a plaza next door that has food places no need to crank up the car.
Food and drinks: Wawa and Bojangles is close by and there is a shopping center with a Publix..Wells Fargo..7-11 and a few other places.

I have stayed here once before, and it was a fine hotel, nothing to write home about, though it didn’t break the bank. This time however, was incredibly disappointing. I arrived one hour after the check in time- with a reservation, just to find out my room had been sold off to someone else. The desk clerk said his brother had given the room out while he was away. Their reservations seem to be written down on paper. I do not recommend taking the gamble on this place. Now I’m scrambling to find accommodation when I reserved a room several months ago.

Needed a affordable hotel and my husband and I were aware of this hotel because one night when I kicked him out and he stayed at here with no complaints. So we called it was late at night and he said he would wait for us to get here before he kinda packed it in for the night, which was a good sign of customer service! The rate was 80 a night for weekday, 90 weekends. The rooms are pretty basic design wise, meaning they don't have fancy art and quirky furniture. But! The carpet was not sticky. The room was noticably clean and smelled clean, it was even a smoking room but had no smoke smell. The beds and pillows were actually REALLY comfortable. Not so bumpy and tiny. The inside of the drawers were clean not stained and none of them stuck. No dust anywhere. Great water pressure in shower and really clean tub/shower. I will say they could update their shower heads but, there was no grime on the lines there. Just older. I'm of the belief though if it's not broke don't fix it. It worked beautifully. It was quite on s Friday and Saturday night. I couldn't hear anyone's TV and I had neighbors on both sides of me. The owners are the best thing about this hotel though. I can tell This is their baby and they take pride in it. They're friendly and kind, wonderful people. I will come back here any day any time.

Safe! Clean and comfortable. Quiet. Owners on property. Restaurants and shopping across the street.Safety: Felt very safe there alone. Felt safe leaving my belongings while I was out. Owners on property.Walkability: Good restaurants and shopping across the street. More restaurants and shopping only a couple blocks away.

The manager watch us get dropped off there in flash flood warning weather with me using a cane BC of total knee replacement a month ago so we stood at the door knocking until we saw this man and woman helping someone in a car and we ask if they was open BC no one answer us then they told us they had no availability for that weekend. Could they have told us before we got stranded at there motel that there was no availability?

They really dont appreciate black patronage. Rude service. Although i paid for 7 days on the 3rd day i was told i had to leave my room for 2 hours so it could be cleaned or i could get out, i got out! Moldy smelling room. I had to clean the filters in the wall heater. Dont recommend.

Asked for extra towels and cups, the owner threatened me by calling the police. DO. NOT. STAY HERE!!!! Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Definitely not worth it here.

Very unprofessional staff. You can tell that the owner doesnt care about his customers or business. Room was disgusting. Sheets and bed sham have yellow stains all over them. Bath tub was absolutley disgusting I should of taken pictures to show but I immediately left once I walked in. If you are on vacation or traveling in the area and looking for a comfy, clean, friendly hotel. This isnt it! I went to four points hotel which is a mile away only 10$ more
