I love saying here at 805. All of the staff at 805 have been nothing but a blessing to me. I moved from hours away and they have been so supportive. They always answer the phone and come to fix anything in my apartment so quickly. My apartment is amazing it is spacious and makes me feel right at home. Anytime family comes to visit they are like wow I wasn’t expecting this!! It’s a great place to live!!

This review is specifically for the leasing office woman, Tricia (Patricia). My boyfriend and I moved here for his medical school from San Diego. In a new city, new coast, new everything, we were pretty overwhelmed with the transition. Tricia is literally the nicest, most considerate, thoughtful, attentive person you could ever want as a leasing office person, and a friend. She has gone OUT OF HER WAY multiple times to make sure her tenants are taken care of, heard, and reassured. She has made improvements to the building, offered resources for stressed students, put on fun events, and always greets us and our dog with the kindest words. She is sincere and truly one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. Let Tricia be the reason you choose to live here. She is incredible.

Would have recommended this building when it first opened, but they’ve only gone downhill - yet have been steadily increasing prices. The only “luxury” aspect about this complex are the lighting fixtures strategically placed in the lobby alongside the package room, where somehow, your packages can still be stolen. Overpriced for what you are given. Greed is a sin?

Nice units, great location, and good parking (if you can afford it).However, management can be incompetent and inconsistent. Maintenance focuses on quick fixes rather than long term solutions. There have also been issues in the past regarding mail being stolen.I've enjoyed my time here at 805, but I wouldn't recommend it to friends or family. If you plan on signing a lease, expect your rent and parking fees to increase upon renewal ($50-100 in my case).

Vanessa and Ely are extremely professional, courteous, and friendly! They do an excellent job making sure all tenants are taken care of.

I love 805 W Lofts! The property staff are awesome and always so friendly. The maintenance man is amazing, any time I have even the slightest issue he comes and fixes it within 20 minutes of me even telling him about it. I really feel like I’m being taken care of and would highly recommend living here.

I’ve lived in this building for two years and truly love living here. Finnessa and Ely are always available and eager to help with anything you need. The apartment is very spacious with a lot of natural light. I would highly recommend!

I've been living here since the summer and it has been a great experience! I had to move out of my previous apartment due to them being unwilling to take disability related issues seriously, and I have had no issues here whatsoever. Everyone is friendly and maintenance requests get handled really quickly! I also really like the package room because I don't have to go looking for my packages and it's very secure.

I’ve had a great experience a living here and so has my brother in the past 2 years, as long as rent doesn’t increase too much I wouldn’t want to move. It’s so close to campus and having different food places right below is great. Management responds to emails and issues quite quickly and it’s nice that they try to organize events for the residents around holidays. When I’ve needed things fixed or adjusted I submit a request through the app and Ely our maintenance guy typically fixes it the next day. Ely is super friendly and always listens to your issues, checks it out, and explains things well so you know what’s going on. The complex is pretty clean and I’ve not had any issues with bugs, so for city living it’s definitely one of the better options!

I’ve lived here for 3 years and management is really good here and the building is great, never any problems with bugs or rodents. Maintenance always comes the same day or next day it’s amazing. One issue is the flea problem here. I have to pay out of pocket to put my pets on flea prevention because they’re always in the building somehow. But it’s not an issue if you don’t have pets! If you can’t get a hold of a garage spot, street parking is free everyday. I do wish the garage was gated though. You can’t beat the location it’s amazing living in this part of Richmond.

My boyfriend and I have lived at 805 for 2.5 years now and we absolutely LOVE it here! I am a VCU student, it is a 5 minute walk to campus, not to mention also a short walk to a lot of other fun spots. It is pet friendly and they have the cutest little dog area where there is room for your pet to play and run and use the bathroom. We haven't had any pest problems or any of the typical richmond apartment issues you always hear about, and any maintenance requests we've had have been solved quickly and efficiently! Finnessa has been amazing and you can tell she truly cares about the wellbeing and happiness of the people who live here! <3

I’ve really enjoyed staying at 805 lofts and a main part of it is because of the great management. Finnessa is really fast at responding to any issues that arises and you can tell she truly cares about the residents because she plans little events for the whole building as well. We haven’t had any pest issues and maintenance is really quick with responding to any repair issues. The building is also maintained really nicely. Living here has been really comfortable!

This apartment complex is by far one of the worst most deceiving places I have ever dealt with personally. My wife had her car parked on Laurel Street on Wednesday (8/17), and the signs posted were not clear as to where or who to call if your car gets towed. As you can see in the pictures, the leasing office made these signs with no information below "Towing Enforced". We had to report the vehicle as stolen with the Richmond Police Department, and as usual the leasing office is always closed and never responsive. Their lack of accountability resulted in us paying $370 to get back our car, and this could have all been prevented. We didn't have an issue paying money to get our car back, because it was towed within the realms of the law; however the leasing office staff member who I called told me she made the signs and hung up the phone on me. Her words were "I forgot to put the number on the sign, but instead put the construction company numbers". I as well as many other folks have had a very poor experience with the leasing office, as they don't care about their residents and the general public. Please take this into account when trying to find an apartment, as there are so many other places in Richmond that do not operate in this manner. If you are a college student please reconsider your options before moving into an apartment like 805 Apartments.

The worst management ever! I parked my car off-street and the same day I came it was gone! The same day I try to reach out and called them 40 times no one picked up! Now it’s the third day trying to find out where my car is! I called every towing company and Richmond’s police; they don’t have it! I call their building office no one picks up! Do you understand the feeling when you can’t find your car because they don’t have a legal towing sign put up with real numbers to call! It’s so frustrating and inconvenient! They’re a rip-off company, illegal, piece of sh—-( the worst management ever)! This is the third day Wasted worrying about my car! They don’t do anything legal
