Quick in and out at Sunoco gas depot, to pick up cigarettes and scratchers! Had to tell the clerk how to ring them up.He wanted to ring up one and times it by 4! I forced him to ring each separately. Sheesh! I decided to not go to the Safeway store as was my intention. I had had enough incompetence, which is one of my peeves. And it was afternoon rush hour

I had a coffee at Starbucks. It was the usual Starbucks experience. The coffee was good and the place was comfortable.

I went there for gas when I was already on empty. There were no indicators that their gas was shut down so I made it all the way over there only to find they are in the midst of construction and their gas pumps were shut down.

Safeway is probably the main reason people come here, but there is also a Chipotle, Starbucks, Subway, and ABC store as well as a few other shops and restaurants. Parking isn't fun from about noon until evening. Although there seem to be a lot of spaces, they fill up, and there are a lot of cars looking for spots. I've seen a few fender benders here.

Great area with plentiful parking & varied businesses. We particularly liked Safeway & walking round the Lake .

6/24/2023: Buying two footlong sandwiches @Sunway with an intern @ICF. Sharing the sunset and sailboats after a storm and power outrage.Red's accommodation. No NY strip steak. Fish is better for the pandemic pounds.

Parking and traffic are ridiculously dangerous as people have no respect for others and are impatient. The restaurants are yummy. The grocery store is never stocked, and the CVS pharmacy has SLOW staff that have no personality.
