Came here for some items. Produce needed some love as things were not stocked and there definitely needed some culling to make that area look better. Usually come her for fresh vegetables but I went to Wegmans to get veggies today

Love the senior discount on Thursdays. The app is much better after the revision. Produce has som shortages once in a while. Meat very good.

I shop at Harris Teeter in Reston occasionally. - good quality, helpful employees and pretty good produce. I buy a lot of romaine lettuce at all supermarkets - Giant, Safeway and HT. Yesterday (June 9th), just about every bag of romaine (rusty and yellowish brown) had an expiration date of May 25 or 27th!! So I went to Giant and found fresher romaine. Very disappointed in HT!

Went to Reston branch this morning to get a Turkey sandwich. The server who prepared my sandwich was Sheriya. She was amazingly courteous with a very warm welcoming smile. Politely asked me what I nee to include in the sandwich etc. From to start to finish she was extremely nice and kind!Please let her know how happy I was and she is a role model for other employees. I asked an employee who was stocking the freezer if he can get Jeni's Ted Lasso flavor ice cream. He was very nice and said he would see if he can get it for me. I hope he can, as I am told it is great.

No random acts of kindness at this store. Arrived in a panic on Thanksgiving in need of a baster after discovering mine wasn't working. Arrived 5 minutes after closing and pleaded my case as I only needed to run in and out for one item while the store was still filled with shoppers. Would have done my business way before they got the last shopper out the door. Man at the door was totally unfeeling and inflexible. Probably not equipped to make decisions or think outside the box and certainly didn't have any compassion. Went to Giant and Safeway where store clerks went out of their way to help. It's things like this that customers remember and give their loyalty to store brands. Harris Teeter showed their lack of customer care, and I will return the favor by shopping elsewhere.

Store manager did call me and apologize for the behavior of the blonde hair woman that works there full-time. I appreciated the phone call and the concern.

Went first time to this location last Wednesday!The cashier tall lady with blond hair and her assistant who been helping with packing totally evil!!!!Extremely unfriendly,hateful,uncaring people.I asked the packing guy if can put my groceries inside the plastic bags instead using paper bags because it's been a very heavy rain outside.He looked at me with absolutely hate!Both cashier and her assistant never smiled or say one nice word to me.I left this store very upset and feel so down.First time and last time I been visiting this location.NEVER AGAIN!!!ADVISE TO MANAGERS!!!!PLEASE HIRE PEOPLE WHO LOVE THE JOB,WHO ARE PLEASANT AND POLITE!!!!

GREEDY: the Harris Teeter Special on Thursday (excellent roastbeef and veggies for a perfect dinner) was at $10.00 before Covid. Now at $15.00. Yesterday, I was there at 5 PM and I there was already clients waiting to buy the Special. But there was no more meat. And nobody told them. When you get there at 6 PM, it is all over. People eat that for DINNER. Hellllloho. It needs to be hot. My conclusion: Harris Teeter in Reston does not want to fill its obligation to serve the Special, so it does not order enough meat and closes earlier so it does pay an employee after 4 or 5 PM. IT IS A BAD PRACTICE. I hope it will not happen again. If I can get meat after work next Thursday at 5PM, I will change my review.

Regular customers carry so much pride that they can say whatever they want and the act like people belong to them to be insulting to each other out loud at this store. No manager did what's necessary to stopped it. Cashiers aren't organized and they seem to just out the items in whatever way to just finish with them. Listen to what they say! The worst experience ever.
