This is a nice club with a few issues. My chief complaint is that they recently switched to using EverWipe towelettes to be used for wiping down equipment after use. These towelettes run out of moisture before a machine is even half wiped down. They should go back to the former brand they used if they are concerned about keeping the equipment sanitized. The other comment is that some handles in their weight machines are worn out and need replacing. In the positive side the staff is very friendly and there is a decent assortment of exercise equipment.

Once you are a member they will give you trouble to leave. The owners lack empathy and only care about the money. Worst gym in the DMV area when it comes to costumer service.

I checked out every gym in the area and got recommendations from as many people as possible, knowing that if I don't feel comfortable, I will look for any excuse not to work out. Onelife was the most welcoming and suitable for what I was searching. Great classes, lots of machines/weights, and several gyms in the area if I want a little variety. They do not push personal training like other gyms. I felt I had no need for it because I know enough and had worked out for years before I got too lazy/busy, but I decided to try it since they had the intro session. I was lucky to schedule my session with Andrei, who has been spectacular so far. He is very caring and professional. I am a physical therapist and sometimes ask him stuff just to see how much he knows =). Surprisingly, he is very knowledgeable, and he will go out of his way to find out information or help me in any way he can. I have recommended him to some of my older patients who will be moving on after PT treatment because he is able to work with people of all ages and skill levels. He has a way of motivating me when I really don't want to do anything. Everyone else has also been super helpful, from managers to the maintenance staff. I can't find a reason not to work out anymore.

I’ve been very happy with my experience at OneLife Reston over the last few years; very much missing it while I’m at college! Nice variety of equipment & friendly staff. I especially enjoyed the Zone4 group classes (though it’s been a while since I’ve last done those).

gym was alright. needed to cancel mine and my husbands membership because we simply just didn't utilize it enough. sent it a request and never heard back. finally called the reston location and spoke with the assistant general manager. she assured me that June would be the last month we would be paying for but come to find out we have been charged for July. we were never told that we would have to buy out our membership so that's an extra $120 on top of being charged for a month that I was assured I would not be charged for. WORST experience trying to cancel a gym membership I have EVER experienced. waiting to see if a refund for July is possible but I am not optimistic.

Clean and well equipped. Friendly staffs at the desk is plus. I'd like to sign up if there are more classes with better instructors and less expensive.

Please try to enjoy this gym by staying away from the elderly black woman that works at the front desk. She was completely unprofessional and lacks respect for loyal members who have been going to this gym for over a decade. It’s a shame such a bitter and rude women is the first thing you have to deal with when you’re trying to workout. Please reconsider who you allow to talk to paying customers.

This Onelife location has amazing customer service Cam really helped with talking my friend and I through the process of trying a free class and what deals were going on. Unfortunately we had some issues with our current membership at a different gym, and Darline was very understanding about our situation. She really helped us follow the necessary steps in the cancellation process. Highly recommend joining!

I have always been a One life member, and now that I moved to Reston this is the closest location to me. I love the gym, but maintenance lacks a lot.A couple machines broke down and it took days for them to fix it, one of them is not even there anymore (the hack leg machine), but what disappoints me the most is the sauna that is ALWAYS broken down. So if you join this location expecting sauna will be included in your membership, forget about it! Lol besides that you’ll love it.

Always clean and well maintained Great free exercise classes yoga and spinning too They built a new area just for the power and Olympic lifters which is really nicely done and reminiscent of the great gyms of the past Great to see the sport still thrives! This is a big gym with a good mix of equipment. There is almost never a wait for equipment, either cardio, machine or free weights. The locker rooms are pretty standard and are kept clean, but they do not have towel service at the Reston location. They have personal trainers and classes like yoga, spin, and body pump. At one point this location had a day care service for kids but I'm not sure if that's still active.

Great gym! Been going here consistently for a couple years and don’t have anything to complain about. This gym is one of the cleanest which I appreciate. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and there’s a variety of machines and plenty of dumbbells, benches and space. It can get more busy around after work hours but that’s to be expected and shows how many people love going here. Overall this gym is a very positive and supportive environment. Love Cam, Carson, and every one there!

I only recently started going here, but it's been a great experience so far! The staff are super nice and friendly. Cam and Jeremiah are two employees I've interacted with closely and they've been absolutely fantastic. I've always been a little intimidated to go to a gym, but Onelife is the exact opposite. I've had other gym goers give me helpful tips on workouts and how to use certain machines. The classes are top notch too and they're included in your membership! There are a lot of gyms out there with lots of bells and whistles added, which means a pretty penny out of your wallet every month. Onelife is a great value that keeps me motivated to keep going. Really glad I signed up!
