I have been shopping at Mayflower since they opened in Reston Town Center in 2010. No one in the area does flowers like they do! They have the most beautiful selection of unusual flowers (I was able to buy Mimosa imported from the south of France this weekend!) and arrangements that take your breath away. Every arrangement is modern, refreshing, and vibrant. The owner is delightful and clearly loves what she does. Mayflowers is a local treasure!

Every time I try to order from this place and give them another chance the service is progressively worse. They were extremely rude to me saying that my mother would complain if the flowers were out in the cold even though I explained she was working and i’m not going to punish her to rush home to receive a simple bouquet. She proceeded to be 3 hours late for delivery- I never received confirmation or payment receipt. Oh, and they saved someone else’s number and not my own when I had to call and follow up 4 times throughout the day. The most simple thing ended up taking up such a large portion of my day and night. Go to any other florist and save yourself the money. (The flowers are beautiful and owner is kind but her staff are extremely obnoxious)

Beautiful selection and cute store.The shop attendant was sweet even though she didn't have what I was looking for (flowers for my uncle's grave in Arlington). Would definitely go back for more elegant arrangements.

They were very nice, but I received low quality flowers and not what I ordered, then they didn't put enough water in them and one died the next morning. 5 days later they were brown as brown gets (day lillies). I asked for some type of partial refund or credit, but was met with no compromise. It's a shame as they are convenient and our company and I personally buy flowers on the regular. I ordered day lillies, they gave me mini day lillies. over 120 dollars for 8 mini day lillies. You can give that a google and see that's not market prices. I can provide timestamped pictures/receipts if anyone is interested.

UPDATE: Mayflowers followed up on my review and were very kind. The flowers have held up well for almost a week! I would definitely give them another chance in the future. Original review: I received flowers from here for my birthday. It was supposed to be a dozen roses, but the arrangement that was delivered only had 9. When the purchaser called the shop, she was told they were given a price limit so only included 9 flowers to stay under the price cap. The purchaser said this wasn’t true, but was told to call the next day to talk to the person who took the order. Two days later, the explanation from the shop seems to be that they stuck with the quoted price rather than filling the stated order. No one contacted the purchaser to clarify their wishes. The petals were already wrinkled when they were delivered, and two days later many are dry and falling off. Wouldn’t recommend ordering from here.

I have used Mayflowers for several large events over the past 2O years and there is no better florist in our area. She is a visionary who knows exactly the mood you are trying for. Her latest, for my sisters funeral, took our breath away! May, no one else will ever make another arrangement for us! (And for those reading this, the 2D images cannot begin to grasp the 3D grandeur of these magnificent arrangements!)

Lovely shop but the arrangement they made for me was lacking, they barely decorated and all the flowers wilted and looked gross the very next morning. They charged way too much for everything.Edit: this is a response to the reply. I had purchased a bouquet that I said I wanted to "feature" a particular flower. Looking at the lovely arrangements in the store I had high hopes. But they put together a few stems and a leaf or two and wrapped it in more paper than flowers and charged me a ton of money.....if you want a full and pretty pass this place and go to whole foods or Wegmans where you will get 10 times the flowers for less than half the cost

This place is incredible! Such a cute location with incredibly friendly staff. May and Lisa were very welcoming and helped me pick out a lovely arrangement for my girlfriend. Highly recommend stopping by to meet them and to purchase some of their beautiful arrangements! They do everything from gifts to wedding - they are your go to!
