they have always been very helpful and very nice. i read a complaint about it that they had to waitn30 min in line. that is not the pharmacy fault. sometimes the doctor orders aren’t there and they can’t do anything but wait.

DO NOT FILL YOUR SCRIPT HERE. This pharmacy is the least functional Pharmacy I’ve ever encountered. the staff is rude, dismissive and they will not go out of their way to fill your prescription until you go to the counter and ask to be marked as a “waiter”… even if you have waited 7 hours from the time a script was called in. Then, when you do manage to get to the front of the line after 25 minutes they will tell you nothing is ready and then act dumbfounded when you request to be marked as a waiter for your medication that you need and was called in.

Do not fill at this Giant! The note from my doctor gave a name brand and they filled generic. That Sunday, The lady at the front desk said they will have it on Monday by 4pm. I got a text saying it was ready and went to get it at 5pm. They had 1 person working the front counter and the line was long.she said she didn't have it but can order it for tomorrow. I am tired of this place and have it transferred to walgreens. I told Giant it must be name brand when they sent the prescription over and they said they will make note of it. Well, today I went to get the pills and shocker!! It's generic! I asked Walgreens and they said they were not informed it needs to be name brand. Walgreens then added a note so it won't happen again. Basically, if you need anything other than easy generic, do not go here!! The older woman with redish hair will make you angry and she has no customer service

Went to pick up a prescription and after standing in a line for ages (why was only one person working the pick-up counter when it was that busy?) was told they were “still working on” my prescription. It was called in 3 days ago?? And this is far from an unusual phenomenon, but today was worse than usual. I’ve already contacted my doctor about switching pharmacies because this place isn’t worth the headache.

Today I've had the following things happen during 3 separate phone calls with the pharmacy staff:1. I tried to ask a question about a prescription after I was told it needed a prior authorization. I was promptly hung up on. I said nothing bad, wasn't upset at that point, nothing. The woman just apparently didn't feel like answering my questions?2. Second call, later in the day with different questions after the prior authorization had been approved, I was told that I wouldn't be able to get the prescribed dosage/amount even though my insurance company had said it was approved. Also that I would need to purchase narcan with it...3. Last call, 6:30pm today after calling my insurance company and being told that no, the dosage was in fact fine and approved, the pharmacist told me to call back later because there were 4 people in line and she didn't have time to talk or answer my questions.If this was an emergency, I would have been absolutely screwed. As it is, I'm down to the wire here because I have surgery in 2 days. I'm now asking my doctor to transfer all my prescriptions away from this miserable pharmacy so I don't have to go through this again. What an absolute nightmare.

Customer service rep this afternoon 5/30/23, was super rude and dismissive! I was clearly inconveniencing him and delaying his cigarette break and so he was irritated that I was asking him to do his job! The nerve of me!! He smelt of cigarettes and his attitude left much to be desired. Worst experience, EVER at this Giant. The only helpful person was self checkout person, Margaret. I went in to pick up an online order and no one was helpful and so I ended up canceling it! There are other supermarkets in the area. Harris Teether, here I come!!!

Store had good selection but the self checkout section has problems. Almost all self checkout machines had problems that needed assistance to fix when paying. The fellow working the section speaks no English so has difficulty interacting with customers since he can't understand them. Plus the self checkout counters were filthy with stains and trash like they hadn't been cleaned in days. Would be more like a four star if addresses these issues.

The grocery always seems under stocked and not zoned well at all on a Friday. Came by for a few items for breakfast and they were quiet and not a lot of things caught our attention to buy. Wondered how they stay in Business with the more successful Harry's Teeter and Wegmans in the area

As a pharmacy tech for 10 years trust me when I say this is a terrible pharmacy. My son needed a medication that they didn’t have in stock. Said they would order it and it would be in the next day. Wanted the prescription back to fill it at cvs that had it in stock. Was told it’s against the law to get prescription back. So I waited until 4pm today (the day they said it would be in stock) and turns out they didn’t even get it in their order. Finally gave me back the prescription. thank god cvs still had it in stock but now the infection spread to both of his eyes since we couldn’t get his med sooner.

I recently gave this pharmacy a 5 star review but I am standing in line and I am the next in line on a Saturday and there is only one person at the counter and have been waiting over 30 minutes just to pick up a prescription. There is also only one pharmacist working. I take back all the good things I thought were improving since their revamp a year ago.
