The Service Manager Favio Burke displayed a very bad demeaning attitude, when asked to support the charges being imposed. He became insulting, intimidating and refused to provide service. He does not deserve to serve the Reston community as a service manager.

Denied restroom access — even after paying for gas. I was told it’s only for the mechanic shop only. There needs to be a sign up about that for everyone. It seemed targeted towards me. My friend was able to use the restroom here just last week with no issue. Bad customer service!

This is my go-to station for inspections and the occasional oil change. I needed some preventative maintenance and their pricing was competitive compared to other local shops. They made it easy to schedule, finished ahead of time, and did a great job.

I've been using this auto shop for a few years and I have to say they are pretty great. I'm normally skeptical of auto shop chains, but the Hunters Woods Exxon has always been fairly priced and, most importantly, unfailingly honest.
Today I took my car in because I was hearing some squeaking when braking. I went in and told them I expected I might need to replace the pads/rotors - it would have been easy for them to sell me on the work, I mean I went in practically asking for it. Instead, I got a call about an hour later telling me that the squeaking was benign and that there would be no charge since no work was needed.
I've literally NEVER had a mechanic tell me I didn't need to do something to my car, after I've already intimated I was ready to pay for it. NEVER!
The owner was extremely personable and helpful as well. Will be back again!

Favio and team are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!
I drive a Mazda and he has taken VERY GOOD care of my car. I came in scared to hear what the issues would be and him and his team figured it out fixed, saved me a bundle and I was out the door!! I won’t take my car anywhere else unless he tells me too!?

I had a fantastic experience getting my car inspected today. Ahmad, the inspector, was very professional and even complimented me on the excellent condition of my car for its age. Simon, the owner, personally introduced himself and took the time to inform me about all the recent updates he's made to the shop. I really appreciated the high level of service and attention to detail.

Under new management and they're doing great. Friendly service. Got my inspection done quickly and was super understanding when I realized half way through I'd already done my emissions with rapid pass. Convenient location. I'd recommend giving them a try or another chance if you were here under old management.

Had an inspection done here in Fall 2023 and it went smoothly. Staff was friendly and offered me a seat while I waited. In March 2024 they fixed the AC in my SUV and it's been pumping out cold air ever since.

I highly recommend Chahel Automotive as a trustworthy and good local service shop. I've used them for years to swap my summer and winter tires 2x/year and for oil changes and state inspections. They have always been very nice to deal with and are very friendly. Recently I had an emergency with my vehicle and my normal full-service mechanical shop couldn't get my car in for 2 weeks. Chahel was able to take me in same-day, assess the problem quickly, and get the new parts and significant repair done by noon the next morning. My car rides like a dream again. They saved me a lot of frustration and worry and were very supportive the entire time. Thank you Chahel!

I just had an amazing experience at Hunters Woods Exxon. I took my Mustang there for an O2 sensor replacement and I couldn’t have been happier with both the level of service provided as well as the friendly and helpful demeanor of everyone there. Favio the Service Manager was incredibly gracious in seeing me on short notice. He found a time slot to get my car looked the same day at even though they were very busy and he couldn’t have been kinder about it. August the mechanic showed me what he was doing to my car and was meticulous about making sure everything was done with conscientious care.
When you’re at the Hunters Woods Exxon for service you feel like you’re visiting a true neighborhood garage instead of a huge faceless corporation. Give them a try for your automotive service needs. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
