Requested style: I had been going to another stylist for many, many years and decided to try this salon. My hair was looking a bit dull but I’m really glad I tried Double Take— I got exactly what I wanted and I love my hair!
Stylist: This was my first time at the salon, and I had Kelly as my stylist. She was super friendly and sat me down and asked me exactly what I wanted and what I envisioned. It turned out exactly how I wanted it and Kelly was fabulous.

Impromptu visit. Great stylist. Unfortunately, I don't recall her name.
Requested style: I wish I could remember stylist's name as she was wonderful. I requested a wash and blowout. The blowout was perfect which kept me looking spiffy through out an international overnight flight.

I got my hair cut at double take salon a few weeks ago by Kelly and she did such an excellent job that I recommended my boyfriend go get his cut as well. He had very long hair and had to get 13 inches off; he was a little nervous for such a big change, but Kelly did an outstanding job! He’s been talking about how much he loves his new look all day. Kelly is a truly talented stylist for both men and women!

Quiet little salon tucked away on the back side of the Harris Teeter shopping center in Reston - if you're not a local it can be hard to find, but the service is excellent! I met Kelly at a friend's holiday party right after I decided I would be changing hair stylists, and went my first cut with her today. She was able to listen to what I wanted (including a dry cut which is probably not the norm, but hey - I'm a curly girl who straightens her hair daily) and deliver a fresh new style quickly and efficiently. The salon is clean and inviting, and the prices are incredibly fair for the area. One thing to note - tips are preferred in cash or Venmo, not credit card. Thanks for the great cut, Kelly! I look forward to coming back in a few months.

I have been going to Chau now for about 5 years. She always does a great job with the cut and color and highlights. When I want a change, I will bring in pictures, she gives her input, and it always turns out great. She not only is a great stylist, but truly is one of the nicest people I have ever known.

Worst men's haircut ever! Debora cut my hair. It is such a mess I'm now looking for another stylist to cut it again today to see if something is left to salvage. Debora needs training or needs to retire.

The owner seems experienced,but the other stylist,not so much. Talks alot and does not know how to color hair. Had to go back a second time to correct my color and she still had no clue on what to do. Very beginner for the price.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I’m the world of services provided it blows my mind that a supposed technician or beautician can turn someone away for service bc they’re “not comfortable”. My hair is in locs and I need my shape re done. Honestly not difficult. They ever sister locs, so fine and very similar to regular hair. She refused me service because she’s “not comfortable” honestly then don’t run a salon. I have reported to the cosmetology association.

I called around looking for any place who could do a last minute appointment and I was in the chair getting an amazing shampoo within 5-10 minutes. Chau gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a while!

I've been coming to Doubletake for 15 years and I've always seen Kelly. She is wonderful! I do highlights and haircuts with her. The salon is comfortable, you can get an appointment quickly, and they always do a phenomenal job. Highly recommend!
