Manager implied I'd be covered after a zelle scam on my account. It was not covered by citi. I went back to call them out about it and they denied implying any type of help after the zelle loss. Citi then shut down my accounts after I dressed them down about lying to me.

Was warned that this was the worst Citibank in America. Walked in and no teller available because “he’s on break and everyone called in sick”. 6 other employees just sitting around. Waited 30 mins. Roxana Ramirez was incredibly rude. Time to change banks

sorry to say, the employee from this branch has poor service and communication skill as provided on the reviews here, no wonder they're at 2 stars... i called them for one of their interest rate promotions, where the email explicitly provided you can do the promotion over the phone, and after repeatedly asking, he insisted that i have to come into the branch to open a new account with my ID. i hanged up and called another branch and got it done in 10 minutes. understand your own products better please

Terrible service and communication.My 94 year old Mother had all of her savings in this bank. She was told that she had 7 days to close her CD and transfer the funds. She got an appointment to go to this branch Dec 23. On this day they told her that she should have been there the day before (5th day). and that on the weekends and holidays they go back to the previous banking day and not to the next banking day like all other banks do! They took a big chunk of her money as penalty.They would not allow her to speak to the Branch manager and said that he was busy. I went there 0n 1-2-24 to talk to the branch manager MR. Frank. He kept me waiting in the lobby for over 1/2 hour although no one was in his office. He said that he was too busy and his schedule is full but on weekendsthe date goes back to the day before, even though on their pamphlet it states that any transactions will be on the following business day. I believe that their actions were fraudulent. Avoid this bank at all costs.

Horrendously bad service in person, over the phone, and online. Impossible to get a competent human for customer service. I'm giving up on Citibank and moving my money elsewhere.

I've had a great experience opening a business checking account with the help of Roxana. She explained the difference between various accounts, helped me understand and take advantage of beneficial banking opportunities, and was very knowledgeable. It was also refreshing to see how so many other frequent customers had come in and spoken to her and her pleasant attitude towards them and me.

Completely agree with all the negative reviews for this specific location. Rude, demeaning and all need training in customer service. It's time to take our $$$ elsewhere.

This bank is the worst . You come to make a deposit and they tell you to come back 30 min later because the teller is on lunch. At. 4.15. Bank closes at 5pm. All personnel have a terrible attitude. This is the Reston Branch. Disgusting

Citi is in general incompetent when it comes to timely client communications. Received block notice alleging checking/savings (non-credit card) inactivity for 24 months in October 2023 for an account established in June 2021. 24 months would have been in June 2023, not October. Citi clearly doesn't know how to tell time (red flag for anyone considering their dishonest banking services). Sir/Ma'am: Where does it even say in the terms and conditions/customer agreement about account block "inactivity"? Most banks don't do that and are very understanding of their various customers needs, so I'm not recommending Citi to family, friends, or anyone with common sense just like the other 1-star reviewing customers.

This bank I have no experience with but Generally speaking Citi is a pure joke. They have foreign exchange students that answer the phone when you call that have no idea of what they are talking about. There famous lines are “the system won’t let me”. Their phone service is pointless complete waste of time and energy. You end up the same place you started before you called. NOWHERE!!

Farah (teller) was great. She reversed a bank fee for a child's savings account. But, there was a line to see a teller while 4 other Citibank people sat idle at their desks. The $25 monthly bank fee for a child's savings account is ridiculous. There is a reason why Citibanks are closing.
