I walked in today no greeting & no question did I need help. Head was buried in computer. Disappointed. I’ll continue to buy online. Reston location perhaps another location is better. I was the only person in store!

The store is clean and well-maintained. The workers here, including Anup, are good sales people who are willing to help you with whatever you need. They will take the time to ensure that you are getting the correct size and discuss all available products and options.

I had great experience with Anup! Very helpful with shoe selection and making buying my first pair of Allen Edmonds seamless! Fantastic experience. Anup, the store manager was really helpful, made sure I had a great experience, and helped me find the shoes I was looking for. He measured my feet to help get the best fit in possible which made all the difference.

I've been to several AE locations, and this is by far the best branch I've been been to in terms of: being able to accurately determine your size for each style/last, ability to see beyond your Brannock measurement when necessary, how to check that the shoe fits properly, providing great style advice on color/style for different formalities, and sincere devoted customer service. I was measured and sized at 3 other AE locations to be a "12D." The fit didn't feel quite right to me, being tight in the wrong places. Using the "12D" size derived from these other branches I desperately tried countless combinations of style/lasts from the AE website, wide sizes, custom order 2w sizes, and even 13 sizes. Allen Edmonds Reston was the only shop that recommended I actually try going down a half-size or a full size, from my official Brannock size, and try a 11/11.5EEE. I've now purchased multiple pairs of shoes in the past few months from this store, due to this branch's staff's knowledge of each shoe-style's last characteristics. Don't bother trying to order shoes yourself off the AE website, as you'll only waste time and money. The two gentlemen running this store will not only match any sale going online, but will also not give up until you find your perfect fit. I cannot recommend this store more highly.

Never met the manager before until two weeks ago. Anup, the store manager, at this Allen Edmonds provides not just first class service, but world class service. He is friendly (but not overly friendly), attentive, patient and understanding, willing to take the time to explain how to take care of your shoes, and willing to even replace a shoe for free you if you damaged it accidentally the first day. He gives a textbook experience of what customer service should truly look like that should be studied by managers and sales reps at business schools. I will be a life-long customer of this store so long as Anup is manager.

Excellent customer service! I went in to return a pair of Allen Edmonds I bought online (mistake) as they did not fit correctly. My plan was to return them and leave the store. However, the salesman Sam Lopez was extremely knowledgeable about shoes and asked me about my preferences, what I'd be wearing the shoes for the most, and with which types of clothing. I was pleasantly surprised to have met a salesman who actually knows his product in and out. He measured my foot and picked out the proper size and width for a specific shoe shape he had in mind. Without any pressure to purchase them, he let me try on a few pairs and provided me some background on the various styles of dress shoes. I basically ended up buying a pair of fantastic shoes because Sam did his job perfectly and gave me enough space, and information, to make the investment. I highly recommend going into the store in person and speaking with Sam to get a better idea of what styles work best for you. Even if you end up buying a different brand, I guarantee you'll know more on what to look for than if you hadn't spoken to him.

I could not be happier with my experience at Allen Edmunds in the Reston Town Center! I stopped in with my fiancé with the goal of purchasing shoes and a belt for our wedding, and got exactly what I was hoping for. I worked with Larry, he was fantastic! I brought in the suit color and Larry was able to match up the shoes perfectly. His knowledge and experience helped lead me to the exact design I wanted for the wedding. Larry then followed up with a very thoughtful hand written thank you note. I will definitely be back!

We stopped in here to look at shoes. We found some of the most comfortable jeans I have worn. How? Because of the attentive customer service. The sales staff was not pushy or lurking around. He directed me to their new jeans line after offering to ship me the shoes I wanted, since they did not have the color in my size, with free shipping direct from the factory. When you are in the area and like comfortable, good looking quality men's shoes and clothing, take a look.

My wife and I had an AWESOME experience at our first Allen Edmonds location. We just wondered in to browse, but received an education on how shoes are made and what makes Allen Edmonds unique. We just experienced possibly the very best customer service of all time. Larry was very polite and very helpful, it is hard to find genuine people anymore.

There is a review below written by Amit that entails basically my experience as well. Came into an empty store today and wanted to check out some shoes. The sales guy was horrible. Not friendly and didn't really care about selling, definitely wanted to get back to standing and doing nothing. I feel bad for the manager/owner for this location, so much money can be made if they had a competent sales man who shows interest in helping customers.
