Great speed with normal prices and minimal outages. If there is an outage, they'll be there in a day or so to completely fix it.

Not even the “technicians” are reliable, they can’t even set a time for an appointment they just expect to wait for hours for a technicians and make you wait days for a reschedule

Any review over 1 star is bogus.. I have several friends and family with them its garbage. Terrible customer service. Explain to me why my Walmart prepaid cell phone Hotspot is faster and more reliable than yours..

Asked three months ago we called and asked if someone could come fix the wifi. They said they would call back when they can come do it. Okay. I thought it would be like two days. It's been three months, we've called multiple times. They won't send anyone. The wifi will cut out while I'm working and then be out for a few hours. I need Internet for work. The only reason they have business is because there aren't really any other providers in Radford.

Stay away from shentel I was told my address was serviceable placed a order for internet just for the tech guy to tell me it can't be hooked up company is a joke and out for money I recommend not getting service through shentel

I had shentel for years as my home internet, and as the provider at my job, and I have never seen a company do as bad of a job as this. The communication could not be worse, the speeds, upload and download were in the kilobytes per second, not even a full Mb. It’s just embarrassing that this company can make profit. The internet is constantly going out, and there is no communication when it does. Switched to Xfinity and now we have a cheaper option, who communicated and gives me the promised speeds. After seeing how good Xfinity was, I don’t see how Shentel does as bad of a job as they do.

I just got my Internet service hooked up through Shentel. Their customer service was great, and not only were they able to squeeze me in and get my service hooked up the very next day, but it is also really good service, and I am even able to stream live TV or Netflix with no problem! The driver was super nice and professional. I don’t know why others seem to be having problems with streaming and their Internet service, but my Internet service & speeds are great.

I have been using Shentell for three years. Recently had new fibre optic connection and there was a slight problem with intranet m/tv afterwards. Customer service got a technician to us promptly and Jackson was brilliant and sorted us out! He took time explaining the problem and persisted until we were fully sorted. Great work Jackson and Shentell. ??

Poor service reliability, email continuously stops working, only adjust rates when someone better comes to the area. They have been overcharging for years and just now fixed the rates. If you can go with any other provider I would.

Garbage company that consistently drops internet, asked why internet drops and they said "could be because of a storm." The internet has been disconnecting every 15-30 minutes for over months (sense November 2022) it is not because of a storm or outside factors. (it has been five months it does not storm here 24/7 for 5 months knocking out internet not all customers are this braindead) Gotten new modems, used a router, Wi-Fi, hardwired does not matter. Some days internet is stable but 80% of the time it is horrendous. Been with Comcast/Xfinity, Cox, Verizon none have been as bad as Shentel. Lastly, I even upgraded the internet to see if the internet would be any more consistent if you pay a premium, it does not. Do not waste more money on this company if you have to it is not worth it.Sorry to the technicians that are trying to do their job I do not know if it is management problems but this is an outstandingly awful service.

Beware!! Shentel are crooks. I’ve had service for over 7 years and recently moved. I had prepaid and was told I could get my remaining balance refunded due to them not providing service where I moved. I was then told they would not refund my money when I put in the order for a disconnect. They kept my money and provided extremely rude service. Never again!
