After multiple negative experiences at other jewelers I decided to give Sturgill a shot for my engagement ring, and they did an AMAZING job, I had very specific requests for a custom ring and they got it done perfectly. Thank you again and I can’t recommend them enough!

I was looking to sell an inheritance piece and Philip was very welcoming, as well as the staff. Selling any piece can feel very tense but I felt very well taken care of. I'm glad I went with Philip instead of other companies I've spoken to.

My first visit to this store was well worth the 40 minute drive. P.R. Sturgill was patient and educated me as he thoroughly examined the estate jewelry that I brought in to sell. The price he offered me on the four pieces he bought was fair, although lower than the insurance appraisal of course! I recommend him and his store, which was well staffed and well stocked with estate jewelry, which is apparently his specialty.

I love going to P.R. Sturgill Fine Jewelry on main street in Radford. I last visited there on 03/29/23. I found a nice man's tiger's eye ring in silver for $89 and a more expensive antique gold coin man's ring that was reasonably priced. The tiger's eye ring was for my youngest brother. He loved it. Since my brother has a tendency to misplace and even lose jewelry, the price of his ring was in the perfect range. The staff were so wonderful and made me feel special. I also left a loose fancy light yellow one carat diamond that I left to be made into a man's ring. That ring should be available in about one month.

Going to P.R. Sturgill Fine Jewelry in Radford is visiting my 'happy place.' Since I began visiting the store in fall 2018, I have been so pleased with the great selection of men's jewelry. Mr. Phillip Sturgill (owner), Cindy Mabry (store manager), Debbie, Ruth, Eli, and Ryan are like family, the family I would have chosen instead of the one I have (lol). Jeremy Jones is the manager of the Wytheville store. If one location has an item, it can be brought to the other location for the customer to examine in a day or so. In addition to selling new and estate and vintage one-of-a kind pieces, the store offers jewelry repair and jewelry design. If you own a piece of jewelry that needs updating, they can redesign it. They buy gold and fine jewelry, and you can even get store credit if you prefer that to cash. They offer a layaway plan. Local quality retail stores such as P.R. Sturgill Fine Jewelry are what make America great!

I came in here to look for either a necklace or a pair of earrings. My boyfriend wanted to purchase me a piece of jewelry in the price range of $250 dollars. THE EMPLOYEES WERE NOT HELPFUL. Instead of helping us find jewelry within our price range we were just showed some over priced costume jewelry. An elderly woman showed me a pandora book even though I said I didn't want a bracelet. She then acted like I was an idiot for not knowing exactly what a post earring was. I don't know the exact names for earrings I'm sorry lol. I was disappointed and left.

High quality, friendly personable staff.. every time I come here I leave absolutely satisfied and thrilled. They have the best service and do the absolute best repair work. Their selection is beautiful and fairly priced. This is the number one place to go! I will never go anywhere else for my jewelry.

My diamond engagement ring was broken due to being soldered to my wedding band. I went into P.R. Sturgills and immediately found exactly what I was looking for, I got the call today that my new ring was ready 4 days sooner than expected! When I arrived I was greeted by the most friendly faces and precious Zoey. I had my girls with me and as I was leaving P.R. so kindly came out and greeted everyone and sent each girl home with something special. What an amazing place and as my daughter said, if I could I would give this place a million out of 10 stars review. Definitely the place to find all your fine jewelry.
