“I'm glad the museum shop has a separate listing, since it deserves its own celebration of how awesome it is. This place has some incredibly cool and unique offerings to add to your personal collection or to give as gifts for the holidays. From clothing items to magnets to other rarities, you will absolutely find something for yourself or that special someone. The prices are fair and they do a great job of keeping the shelves stocked, did not see anything in short supply here. Definitely suggest making a stop here on your way out of the Marine Corps museum. You'll be glad you did! Overall: 5.0 stars ---- Pros: - Great selection of unique items. - Logically laid-out store makes it easy to find what you're looking for. - Cashiers process guests quickly. Cons: - None, stop by!”

“We adopted a cat from Shadow Cat Advocates several months ago. We dealt with a couple people - mainly Cari and Carol. Both were very helpful and willing to answer the questions we had. After dealing with them, there is no doubt in my mind that they are primarily interested in the well-being of the cats they place. They make a real effort to find the home that will be the best match for the cat.”

“I’ve been here twice and my first time I actually was pregnant at 19 but ended it with abortion and they were helpful and even called to check back. I would come back here again for confirmation during my next pregnancy!!”

“I really enjoy perusing the shelves at Acts! This isn’t one of the cheaper thrift stores I’ve been too, but the selection is good and less picked through than the larger stores.”

“Solid Goodwill. Well organized and clean. Good selection of your typical Goodwill/Thriftstore fare. Worth a stop if you're looking for something or even when you're not.”

“A good place to give in Dale cityAccording to their website, Goodwill is, “American nonprofit provider of job training, employment placement, and other community services, funded by a network of retail thrift stores. As of 2021, they had over 4200 stores in the United States. A family member was cleaning out their house and wanted to donate so I found this site. It is in a strip of stores on the northeast corner of Dale Hwy and Gideon Drive. It is at the end of the line of stores with an open parking lot fronting all the stores. The inside of the store is fairly large. Items are laid out for easy viewing and access. It was fairly clean. If you are giving items to them, they are very accommodating with carts outside by the curb. When I arrived, there was a staff member who helped me to unload curbside onto the carts. He was very helpful and friendly and even told me some of the items that they could not take. If you need a receipt, just tell the staff and they will get you one for your donation. Overall, it was one of the easiest donation experiences that I have had with any Goodwill location.”

“Yes, the VEC as a whole is inconvenient and unhelpful when you try to call. I went to the Alexandria location and they are appointment only, scheduled out about a month (at the time of writing). This Woodbridge location, like the others, is unable to answer the phones when you call. There is no way to reach a real person by calling. However, their phone machine mentioned “no appointment needed.” I took a risk, drove an hour, and was able to walk in, tell them my issue, and after a brief wait, they have helped me get my unemployment PIN. Their employees are very kind and helpful. The VEC system sucks but this location is full of helpful and kind people. It’s not up to them I’m sure whether they are able to receive calls and they do not control the VEC process or websites. The least they can do is provide great customer service in-person and they do so. They have many computers, provide printing service (up to 10 pages), they assist you with the computers, and their location is super clean. This experience was a breath of fresh air after dealing with the VEC customer support phone number constantly “not accepting calls at this time” while being unable to schedule a callback. If possible, if you are near this location, I encourage you to visit this location. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THEY DO NOT CONTROL THE VEC, THEY ARE ONLY HERE TO HELP YOU.NOTE THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED FOR LUNCH FROM 12:00pm - 12:30pm.”
