Poor customer service. Teller does not want to seem to help with a deposit telling me I can use my app or the ATM machine. I already know this. No one was in the bank. I only physically enter the bank twice a year.. If you ask for CD rates they will tell you someone will call you. If you call the 800 number they tell you the local branch should know. Associate Linda says the tellers may have been new or busy. Neither was true. Linda also seemed to dismiss my concerns when I went to the bank the last time and seemed to be pushing me out. Wrote the 800 number on a scrap of paper if I need more help, but asked for a 10 out of 10 if anyone asked me to rate her. She recommend I update my accounts to “newer products” and told me nothing would change, but I lost getting my paper statements. Will now be 3 or 4 dollars per year.

I came in today to open a debit account. Andrea made it so easy and painless. I was in and out in thirty minutes. She even helped me set up the Truist app. It was my first time opening a bank account. She answered all my questions and was so helpful. 10/10 wonderful. She was just great. The experience was amazing.

Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I failed at the self service ATM today for a deposit so I went inside. Abe assisted me with no judgement about the ATM! I appreciate it. Thanks for the pleasant banking experience. Nice atmosphere, other Truist employees were friendly and also greeted me. New to the area so happy to have a nice bank to go to.

I wish I could give a 0 star rating! I went in to the bank to get a simple money order and the bank teller (Linda Leon) asked me if I spoke Spanish looking at me while mouthing something to her fellow teller who was on the opposite side of the desk! I was speaking to her in good English and she asks this! I replied "I am speaking to you in English and I'd like you to speak to me in English as well!" I speak four languages and she probably can not even speak in two! Its not okay to treat someone like this lady, specially when you're at a people facing job on a daily basis. A totally unnecessary comment made by her by the way I look and my skin color! I guess Truist lost a customer for good! Terrible experience, never returning.

The branch manager, Chris, is unhelpful and rude. They seem to have no problem letting people stand in line for over 30 minutes just to make a simple deposit.

I was very disappointed when I visited your Gateway branch today Feb 23, 2022. Service was extremely slow. I tried to make a deposit and was told that the money and checks did not match the figure written on the deposit slip. After some discussion, I was forced to retrieve my deposit and had to go to a branch miles away in Leesburg because all the nearer banks were closed for renovations. My deposit was accepted without incident at the Truist bank in Leesburg. Your branch teller in Purcellville is obviously incompetent and caused me inconvenience and extra travel expense.

If you ever deal with the banker Chris here. He is knowledgeable and helpful. Saved our company a couple hundred dollars by switching us to do a different account which helped us get rid of fees. Our relationship banker failed to point this out to us for more than 2 years.

I stopped by here while I was out exploring to take out some money for a purchase. It was a new location that had popped up on my navigation when I asked for nearby Suntrust Banks. This is a newly constructed building and still has that new smell and feel. They had some free candy and coozies for the taking - so I got a matching pair for home/bring to friends yard parties. Coming in, the teller seemed new to the business and she was being kept company by the on-shift Manager. They were both very friendly and the on-shift Manager really enjoyed asking a bunch of personal questions (where do you live, what do you do, what are you buying with the money, is that location by this, etc). The cashier was confused with my account and kept asking questions trying to figure out how to do a withdraw and what certain things were that popped up on her computer. It was honestly hard to keep up with the cashiers questions and on-site manager. This was probably my least favorite part of the trip; because I don't like being 'friendly' when I'm conducting private personal business... Overall from my experiences of dealing with SunTrust locations in general; I would have to say that this was a good establishment. There was plenty of parking, it was clean inside, there were perks for walk-in patrons, and the staff was friendly. If you are in this shopping center or nearby and you have an account with this company, I would recommend using this location.

I've been to this branch a couple times, and not only has the service been very slow, but the tellers don't seem to know their processes very well. I'm hoping as time goes on they will be trained better, but in the meantime I will go to another branch if I can.

So thrilled to have a full-service SunTrust branch right here in western Loudoun! And not only are they incredibly focused on customer service, they have some great loan programs and even offer a conference room for local businesses and nonprofits to meet – fantastic!
