Family friendly and so much fun! Whitewater kayaking and riverside camping are my favorite things to do here. 10/10

We went white water rafting with Sara today and had a blast! It was my first time, so I was a little nervous, but she was such a pro and I felt safe the whole time. I would definitely visit Harpers Ferry Adventure Center again!

Love this place! They have so many options, and I need to go back.Went here for both the ropes course and then on a different day for the lazy river tubing. I loved both of them. The ropes course is not as interesting as some others in the sense that it is a multi-level structure right near the main area. So, it is not a treetop aerial adventure exploration but rather an exploration that has some trees to make it more interesting instead of just poles. The ropes course is nice because it's in one location so you and your party can do whatever you want on whatever level and still stay together. It's cool like that! Some of the obstacles are incredibly challenging, but those are at the very end/ top, so most folks will be fine with the first couple levels. In 2 hours, it was not possible for me to do all of the obstacles, as I couldn't get to a few at the end. It's also nice the folks watching over you are there nearby at all times, so if you're stuck they can help you with clues/ hints/ guidance and, well, saving you if needed. The fast exit from the course is super fun, so do that several times! Just be ready to catch your own weight. The river tubing is exactly what you expect. Hop in a tube, and make your way lazily down the river. It is not a fast flowing river, and many folks purposefully slow down the journey by stopping or taking little side journeys or not propelling themselves forward. Unlike the ropes course, there is no time limit, as long as you get out of the river by last pick-up. Pack your snacks and drinks, and you can make a good half day of it!Really like this place! It's well organized and fun! Will be back!

Where has tubing been all my life... It's like one of the most relaxing things ever! My friend proposed the idea and I was like sure why not -- it was a one hour drive from his house -- thankfully there was no traffic! We arrived, parked, checked in, and were told what time we needed to gather with the crew that was leaving. We used the spare time to change, and put on water shoes -- yes, those are required, and I see why! At our time, we lined up, the staff broke down the 411 and everything... and then we hopped on a bus to where we were going to enter the river. It was about a 30 minute bus ride -- apparently, it's usually 15, but the normal route was blocked off. We got out, grabbed our tubes and ropes, and headed for the water. We tied our tubes to each other, including the one with the cooler on it, cranked on a bluetooth speaker, and got out there. The nature part... tranquil, a bunch of dragonflies landing on my knees and flying about. The sun was shining and the water was a mixture of calm and white water rapids. Don't let the idea of rapids deter you though. The tubes are durable and if you get stuck on any rocks... let nature do its work. You can paddle if you need to though. We passed under a train tracks bridge, and decided to stop and hang out on some rocks for a while. We could stay out as long as we wanted as long as it was before 5:00. The one hiccup was staying out until a storm came and reversed the current from the pickup point... oops! But we were fine anyway. I would totally do this again, and anyone should do it at least once in the summer.

Last Monday, I experienced ziplining for the very first time. I'm beyond thankful to have had Kyle, Matt, and Logan as our guides. Their meticulous attention to safety and genuine kindness and encouragement made the entire adventure truly memorable. I highly recommend this experience to others, especially with such dedicated guides. Thank you for such a fantastic day!

It is wasn't a bad experience but somehow took 6 hours and seemed a bit like amateur hour except for our tour guide Kaitlin who rocked.
