I was visiting SW Virginia from Wyoming for a month. While shopping at Food Lion, I experienced hospitality like never before ... and I've been to all states, except Hawaii. The employees from each department, inc cashiers, were genuinely helpful and kind (not syrupy) and joyful, as were all of the other customers!! Fabulous experience!!

I go to Food Lion about 2-4 times a month. I like their produce, always fresh. Meats are fresh and pink. Store always clean.

Always do a great job, are friendly, and don't try to get me to work for them in a self checkout line. Which is what brought me to their store to start with.
