No organic red or green cabbage, noticed previously there is not much choice in this..didn't find baby ribs or brisket that was grass fed no antibiotics but given the other brisket was 20+ dollars, I couldn't have afforded it..no organic butter beans ( after I finally found them) but workers great and good atmosphere..maybe given the area, it would not be profitable to supply these specialty items..oh, and no organic asparagus and I don't want to pay 3 or 4 dollars for carrots even if they are organic. I hope the business does well.

Driving through Virginia, had a whim to stop and see an old college friend in Pulaski. My friend suggested we meet at Starbucks in Food City. We discovered it had recently opened at the brand new location. It was immaculately clean and well staffed and stocked. It even still had that “new car” smell. lol
I was immediately impressed, wishing I lived closer so I could shop here. They seemed to have everything. I must say, grocery-wise, I define “everything” as whether or not they stock a Michigan favorite (spiced ginger ale) “Vernor’s”. Guess what? They did indeed stock everything, as I was able to purchase a couple bottles to take home with me.
I hope heaven has a Food City! Manna and Vernor’s for eternity. Of course, it’s “spiced”, so maybe somewhat on the other direction…

The New Food City needs some one to show the Deli or bakery how to make preacher cookies so they will properly set up and not just be a gob of mixture throwed in a container like the ones I bought

Man, I could not believe how the Prices have went up. I was so heart broken because food city was my go to store. I guess I will stick with Walmart.

No one on the floor to ask for help to find something are get something of there top rack because it is way to high .There prices are not right when it rings up .
