Monica was EXTREMELY helpful when I had my first ever change order for petty cash. My main office had sent a check to my branch office in my name. I was unsure how to get it cashed as I didn't have an account there. She walked me through the process and was very kind when I asked a billion questions due to my having anxiety. I highly recommend this branch and specifically Monica - she made me comfortable and was patient with me. THANK YOU!!!

I first want to start out with that I thought this bank was the best ever! I even worked there for about ten years, only to have a new manager fire me for a situation six months prior,( they tried to say I stole 800.00 then returned it , stupid right)?, So when I found the money I was happy, no money was ever missing, right? WRONG! I then find out they did not replace my position so it told me that I was fired for a false reason so they did not have to "lay me off", and give me any severance pay. After almost ten years I had access to so much money, and if someone was going to take money, why return it? the main problem is I could have lost 1000 (per policy), dollars and still had a job, the issue was I found it. So they accused me of "falsifying" records. I never had been writtrn up, had no strikes against me, I was licensed with my Series 6, 63 and Insurance licensing at the time, and worked face to face with customers all through COVID. They then started hiring people who knew nothing about banking. this bank does not care about its customers, or employees. I would get reprimanded for helping elderly people too long, the promotion process is about whose ass you kiss the most and who you know. I spoke my mind, I denied the vaccine, and reported them to OSHA for a violation, and I won. Sad part is my customers were my world, they didn't even let me say goodbye. I came in one day no warning and was fired, I can honestly say I was the most knowledgeable person in that branch, the most known, and most dedicated. God help the customers who go there now they probably keep getting the "I don't know" how to answer that question, or call the 1800 number Honestly it probably was the best thing that happened to me, I will never work for another company that based hiring and promotions on who you know and what you look like! Wells Fargo is worse bank ever, and worse company to ever work for, too many power hungry people who do nothing and know nothing!

I use this branch all the time and honestly do not understand all the bad reviews. I have had nothing but great experiences. I could only guess that people complain before they praise.

Rosalina Taraky Is the rudest person I’ve ever met at a bank. I felt so uncomfortable around her and this branch had changed compared to last year. I’m planning on banking somewhere else.

This is a Fuuucking terrible corrupt bank!!! I don't understand why the people in Powhatan are so mean to me. It seems to be one of the worst towns in Virginia! Fuucking terrible town!

Forced by my company to use this branch and have had nothing but issues and rude interactions, it’s rare to have someone be friendly at the counter. Only time they’re friendly is if I’m not asking to get change (small bills and rolled coins) and just doing a deposit. If I could bank elsewhere to get those small bills and coins I would, but it’s a bank and I’m in retail, we need small denominations and my company selected this branch due to proximity to my store! Went to drive thru today to just do my deposits and the greeting was being told I need to go inside because I had multiple deposits and her system at the drive thru wouldn’t allow it. Amazing that when I asked for clarity as I’ve been told as long as I’m just doing deposits and not getting change I could use drive thru, the system allowed her to put them in. I dread my bank runs because it is nothing but icy glares like they hate having a customer to interact with.

This has been my bank for 18 years. It is no longer the home town bank it once was. They were closed for all of 2021 and now the hours are so limited I have to drive to midlothian on saturday and use the drive up teller air tube. I will be moving to a local community bank (New Horizon) soon.

Worst bank ever!!!! Powhatan branch was rude and ugly about cashing a check. Said cause ink looked different.
Said if I had an account there she would cash for me. Last week I had three checks cashed there and from same person and they did it just fine.

Small bank but the employees are polite and friendly. Most times very quiet in bank if you pick the right time of the day, which is early morning.
