“I have never been a fan of storage facilities, however, when it became a necessity I am a huge fan. Great security features, above average management and a great place to store your belongings. Reasonable prices and secure locations. Would recommend for long term storage needs because access and safety mean a lot.”

“We’ve been using Powhatan Community Self-Storage for 18 months. We have a 10x12 foot, outside, non-climate-controlled unit and we have moved in and out ALL kinds of things. Furniture, tools, truck tires, patio and pool equipment, luggage, household decor, a very large lathe, table saw, sporting equipment, more furniture, more tools, plastic storage containers with paperwork, books, clothes, pillows, air mattresses, etc. I’ve been impressed by the lack of spiders, bugs and other pests! The facility is always very clean, easy to access, never crowded and always seems completely secure. I recommended them to 3 other separate people who got all different sized units, one person rented a climate-controlled unit. All units are always clean and, as I mentioned, pest-free!!! The staff is always very friendly and easy to communicate with. They resolve questions or concerns quickly. They emailed me when my credit card on file expired, I called them during business hours and they were able to update the information without requiring an in-person visit.I also like the website. It’s perfect for providing all the needed information while shopping and determining what to get. I really appreciate being able to get complete pricing online without having to work with someone. No pressure. No one talking/selling and distracting me while I was thinking through exactly what we needed and what we would continue to need in the future. We’ve been very happy with Powhatan Community Self-Storage. Is it expensive? I guess. I own a home with land so I’m going to purchase a shed to store all our belongings and from what I can tell, the rental unit is a little bit cheaper than what the payment will be to purchase a shed with the same capacity. Of course the shed is a permanent property upgrade and the payment is temporary (~2 years). Best wishes to everyone.”

“I have been using the facilities here on and off for nearly 7 years. Sally is absolutely the best and has saved me so many times when I was in a bind. They have great prices, lots of different sized units to fit any needs, and everything is always super clean. I have had several outdoor and inside humidity controlled units and have never had any issues. The secured gate is definitely a plus. I can't recommend PCSS enough for any storage needs you have.”
