The BEST clinic for your furry kids in the Midlothian/ Powhatan area. No offense to any "Creek Lovers" out there as are good too. However, RR has better hours and has been there 100% of the time no matter what was needed. Highly Recommend.

Thoughtful and thorough vet clinic. Nice to know there is a great veterinary clinic I can accommodate on late evenings and weekends when one of my 8 pets has an urgent care issue.

I could not have asked for a better experience with saying goodbye to our beloved Leo. As hard as this decision was, the staff worked diligently to make this experience peaceful and informed. They talked us through every step and provided so much love (and treats) in Leo’s last moments. As someone who has worked many years in the veterinary field, this practice is top-notch in its professionalism, compassion, affordability, and knowledge of animal care. Special shoutout to Dr. Carter for allowing us to lay our best friend to rest. Thank you River Run!

The staff at River Run were all so caring and helpful. Dr. Froelich was kind, thorough, and explained everything in detail, answering all of our questions. It was a relief to have such amazing care available during an emergency visit.

We’ve been using RIVER RUN Hospital for a few years now for all of our pets we’ve had great experiences. They’re usually very quick and very attentive to our animals. We really like them. Highly recommend using RIVER RUN Hospital. The staff is very friendly and the vets ’I really like.. I have a 17 cat I adopted and never been to the vet till week ago. This cat melted in the vet’s arms. Amazing because it never goes to strangers!

I found myself in need of some urgent veterinary care when my four month old kitten had a fall and hurt her back leg and my main vet isn't open on the weekends. A friend of mine recommended River Run, and I couldn't be happier when I read all the great reviews since the greater Richmond area has some off-putting vet services.
I called around 8:15 AM, and they were able to set me up with an appointment for 9:30 AM. Everyone was so nice, I felt comfortable with the services they provided, and the communication was great! Pricing was also great compared to other urgent vets as well.
