First off, there is not much around this area and I was running service calls. Wanted something to eat and use bathroom. Sign on door said "No Public Restrooms". They serve food here and they won't let people use bathrooms? Is that legal? Secondly I asked the guy serving the food how much the chicken tender and fries are and he said "its a special. The lady at the cash register will tell you how much". I then asked how much was one of the Sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits leftover from morning. He said "they are half pricr". I said how much is half price? He said, "ask lady at register". I walked over and asked her and she hesitated and said "they were half price". I asked how much is half price? She said, "it will be $2.89". I walked out. Who in their right mind would pay $5.89 for a Sausage, egg and cheese biscuit at regular price let alone pay half that at 1:30 in the afternoon? Never going back there anymore.

I stop in here multiple times every week. I have routinely dealt with all of the cashiers and each and every one is a pleasure to deal with. Some of the nicest staff around, especially the lady that works the morning shift. High quality fresh made food, live fishing bait, and competitive gas prices. This place has increasingly gotten better over the years and I don’t see how it could improve anymore now.

Complete lack of safety or concern for their customers. The man at the counter wasn't wearing a mask and was striking up conversations with every customer even with a long line. I love supporting small businesses, but this is completely unacceptable behavior. I will be reporting them.

Friendly people and good, freshly cooked food selection for a convenience store. I don't live in Powhatan, but I drop in at least once a month!
