20220701 I stopped by and saw that they have a BBQ stand outside the store near the elevator selling cooked BBQ meat. It's convenient for those who wants some BBQ.
The employees here are always nice and helpful. I'm so glad the bank went away and they expanded the parking area in its place. With more above ground parking spaces, there is little need to park in the underground garage. I was driving by and decided to stop to pick up some food. This store is consistently clean, and I like that HT carries some unique items. I always get the Free Range/Pasture Raised Organic eggs - note: Cage Free means the chickens are not in cages but they are still stuffed in large trailer like housing with no natural light and no fresh air. Support Free Range or Pastire Raised chickens.”

“My first visit to a Giant Food supermarket. They have a good variety of Gluten free, dairy free, soy free brands. Found Schar, which I haven't seen at other stores. They also have So Delicious and Glutino. I got some produce and other items to make GF, DF, soy free eating possible while I'm in Leesburg.”
“Tracy in the deli made me the best Italian sub I've had in years! The three cheese bread was really fresh and the cheese on top was crispy. I've had a lot of HT subs on that bread, but never realized the cheese could be crispy. She was friendly, fast and a real pro! Highly recommended!”
“Had an amazing interaction with Sandra at checkout who completely changed my opinion of shopping here. I deal with a lot of things that cause in-person shopping to feel super daunting but all of it went away just with the special way that Sandra seems to treat everyone. Not everyone has this and no it is not something you can learn from corporate-produced training videos. She is valuable and I truly hope she as seen as an important asset to this location and business.”

“This Harris Teeter is my favorite grocery store!
They have a great selection of fresh produce! I look very closely and examine it carefully. Occasionally, produce marked down on sale may not be as fresh, but most stores do that. I have to say the onions, potatoes, fresh herbs, almost all of their produce beats most comparable stores in freshness.
I am always greeted by friendly, helpful employees. They have a wonderful attitude and make the shopping experience very nice.
I have requested a few items to be stocked at this particular store. They now have everything I love to buy.
The discounts are excellent.
What I also love about this store is how clean it is inside, I usually see employees cleaning and surfaces, which makes this a really beautiful grocery store.”
“My Dr's Pharmacy is the best pharmacy in the Herndon area. They have a ton of prescriptions available for pick-up the same day. They are incredibly fast at filling prescriptions. And the best of all, they fill your prescriptions right when they get them. Unlike other pharmacy's where you have to call them and remind them that you need your prescription and have to keep bothering them to finally fill your prescription, My Dr's Pharmacy is really fast and fills your prescriptions as soon as they get them. The BEST pharmacy in the Herndon area.”
“I’m ancient and this specific pharmacy is the best I have ever dealt with. They are nice and helpful even to people who are not either of those things to them. Every time I come in they are pleasant and it’s obvious they are not pretending to be they actually are good people. They explain medications give warnings about interactions where other pharmacies just hand you the pills.
So go there and be treated like a human or go somewhere else and be just another insurance card.”

“I will only deal with this pharmacy. My husband is on a lot of medications and they carefully check for interactions and may actually in this way have saved his life. The pharmacists are super. Grace goes out of her way to be helpful to us, and Ahmed helps with very practical advice (like, take blood pressure and if systolic is over 150 don’t take meloxicaml. None of my doctors could be that specific). The techs are also very kind and helpful. I do wish that CVS would hire more staff because they work very hard and at times the lines are long—but to their credit they never let it compromise the care they show each customer.”

It’s not just this location, all Giants allow solicitors, but this Giant does it more than any others I’ve known. Seriously, if it’s not the Girl Scouts, don’t let them set up shop there, lol.”
