Zero stars. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! This is a dire straits option only. If this is your only option, I suggest you try again and find another place, don’t give up. Your HVAC is controlled by law. Virginia law states “Heat and air conditioning shall be provided in all rooms in the facility so that a temperature not less than 65 degrees F or more than 85 degrees F is maintained.” That being said it is hot af and the apartments are within law and won’t turn on the A/C until May 15th. Today is May 8th with a high of 92° and the apartments will not turn on the air. You will have to buy window units to make it bearable. Good luck cooking in your own kitchen, it gets as hot as Texas in there with the stove and oven on together. The elevator has pee, cigarette butts, and cigar guts in it. The hallways and stairwells are sticky and nasty and also have pee in them. If you get a package from Amazon it is just thrown on the ground by the mailboxes at the entrance to your building for porch pirate easy picking. The kitchen cabinets are from the early 90’s at best. A few high notes, the walls are well insulated (I have not heard upstairs or next door neighbors). Also, if you are into marijuana, I’m sure you could procure some from a fellow neighbor. The entrance, elevator, and hallways consistently reek of ganja. The Starbucks is about 200 feet away. Oh, I almost forgot, the people in the office, they have cold a/c but the residents don’t. I pray that someone reads this before even stepping foot onto this property. Peace and blessings.

Worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in the tenants are always loud, the rooms are almost always damaged, I’ve experienced several robberies while staying here, several tenants rooms reek of drugs, the maintenance never fixes anything even if you contact them several times, the community is almost always hostile or non inviting. Worst experience ever

I spent a year here and it's ok. Some of the concerns you will read about are true. The elevator does smell weird and you are kind of a 2nd class citizen when compared to the apartments across the street. The unit itself was fine. Well insulated from noise and the balcony is nice. The hallways are barely maintained, but who really spends time out there? The included utilities make it worth it in the end. Location is great, just expect to get what you pay for. If you expect something very nice then pay more and move.

Horrible upkeep. Owners and staff could not care less about the tenants. Nothing works and the hang up on you when you try and put in a trouble call.

This is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever experienced. The only person that actually takes anyone’s concerns into consideration is Trina. There are squirrels in the ceiling in the lobby, and roach problems on the sixth floor. I have had to call more than 10 times to get them to even come to the apartment to “fix” anything (that is if they actually fix anything). My apartment was sprayed for roaches twice in the matter of two day and I still ended up having set off two roach bombs after finding a dead cockroach under my microwave. I do not recommend these apartments to anyone.

Not the best. Only convenient to work since the hospital is just one block from here. One thing I hate about this is the elevators always stinks! Smells like dog peeped on the carpeted floor or some drunk person puked... Also, A/C is controlled by them so over the winter, they will disable it and you won't have the control over it even though it is still hot outside.
