I love Navy Federal because it's always been a great branch, but this specific location needs to ensure their notaries understand how to perform their duties. I needed a legal name change form notarized, and it got rejected TWICE because it got notarized incorrectly.

This has always been my bank they keep on top of everything recently my account was hacked and they caught it they sent me a text and then they called me and they shut down my card quickly.

The guy running the drive thru- a young black man- was very nice and this is why there is 3 stars versus 1 star. Holy slow drive thru with 1 person running it and 6 cars waiting. Why isn't NFCU budgeting more people in the drive-thru....especially on the 17th of the month! Near payday! Just not understanding that. It took forever in drive thru, yet I felt so bad for the young man as he was so polite....he can only do so much as 1 person. This is NFCU's lack of customer service.

Deposited a check for roughly $16k from Rutter Mills, a lawyers office, for a car accident I was in on Monday at 9am. Originally wanted to cash it but apparently you cant do that? So I deposit it. Was told by the teller and my receipt that it would be available by Wednesday. Tuesday evening, I get an email saying it was delayed by the “security department” to Friday. Absolutely unacceptable telling me at the last minute, and not expressing that at the time of deposit. I call customer service upset obviously and no one can give me answers or forward me to this so called “security department”. Can’t give me a reason for the hold. And there’s no reason for the hold because the check from my insurance already cleared in my lawyers account, so this one would clear. I have bills waiting to be paid since my accident, and Navy Federal is screwing with me. They do not care about their customers. Will be pulling that out along with my other checks clearing next week. So $22k+ will be being removed from your bank and being brought elsewhere. I get large checks regardless of the lawsuit due to my job, and I don't want to be with a bank that flags my checks all the time. Never cashed a bad check in my life. So quick to take money out but when it comes to giving people money forget it.

So I'm just gonna say that I only went in to get a money order. I don't actually qualify for any programs there or a bank account. However, the young lady behind the desk was very helpful and did everything she could to at least TRY to get my sister and I a money order but it didn't work out ? It's fine though! Still had a great experience regardless.

All I wanted to do was open savings accounts for my grand children. Natasha was not knowledgeable or confident about these accounts and did not know what forms I needed to fill out. When I asked for a manager, Nikki shared she was the Manager only to find out later, she was the Sr. Member Representative. This was confirmed by Natasha. Because of my frustration, after being there from 2:30 till 3:44 pm and my raised voice, Jamani started hanging around itching to say something, so she did. She said she heard everything. She's good , as she waited on several clients while I was still trying to set up these account. Then I got a call next day, they still did not get it right. I need to see where I go from here.

I shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes in the drive up to deposit something. You have two drive ups there should be a teller at each one.
