Aside from personally never having any positive interaction with any NFCU personnel ever, they're Just not helpful, I applied for a loan, got hired as a federal employee and moved state, was thinking about opening accounts and they just wanted nothing to do with me??? Went to Langley and got everything I needed and am extremely happy and highly recommend Langley. Also ever since turning me down NFCU sends me junk mail every frickin day now I guess to ask me to apply for services so they can turn me away again? Idk, so I'm like "Leave Me Alone!!!", They're like a crazy ex. Go with Langley FCU.

Just wanted to give Richard at the Portsmouth location huge kiddos for helping us on on very complicated trade-in for our vehicle. The process sure was a headache but Richard went above and beyond to get us exactly what we needed. Highly recommend this location and Richard specifically if you're looking for an auto-loan!

I tried to deposit my tax return and they gave me a huge stink about it. I had my name changed ten years ago and have been successfully depositing checks under my old name all these years until now. Now, suddenly, they're refusing to deposit them.They claim it's always been their policy, but that's a lie. I told them to look through my bank record, and they'll see my old name on file. The teller claimed she didn't see it, but that too was another lie as I deposited my checks at another location without hassle.

Usually when I'm here I'm greeted as soon as I walk in. Today at 3:10 I walked in and the greeter just looked at me, no smile, no hey nothing. Not use to this behavior at navy Federal.

We have several branches in our area, I've been to them all. However, County street is friendly, professional and warm. Always a smile, even the police . They are # 1, and strive very hard to help. I appreciate them.have a smile.

I have been a member of Navy Federal for over a decade, ever since I left boot camp. I recently filed a fraud claim, which Navy Federal determined was absolutely valid, and was happy that it was resolved in a timely manner. However, Navy Federal chose to punish ME for the fraud that occurred on my account. Hitting me with "We've decided that you're a risk and you will not be allowed to use a debit card for any account for at least a year." I'm sorry, WHAT? Screw these guys, stick with a real bank who wants to actually serve veterans, not this one.

Worst branch in the Hampton Roads area. Tellers not willing to help. Lines are LONG LONG LONG and tellers SLOW SLOW SLOW. AVOID AT ALL COST. The other banks are faster and don't make you wait outside in the scorching sun or freezing cold and rain. Not much of a difference in rates and now days you can do banking with anyone from anywhere.

This is the best Navy Federal located I have ever visited. Everyone is super kind and easy to work with. This location is clean and organized. The only issue I could find was the lack of sidewalk from the back parking lot to the front of the building where the atm is located, so if you are there at night you have to dangerously walk through the drive through.

My mother and I got to the drive thru at 5:25. Another car pulled up at the same time; however, when we drive up to the window, no one responded. I called the customer service to try and resolve my problem. This branch is always slow with poor service.
