I use this La Petite Academy for drop in care for my son. As a mom to a special needs kid, I can't exaggerate how comforting it is to know he has a place he can go on days off from school that is familiar and exciting for him all at once. The staff remembers him by name and talks to him about his special interests. Very grateful for all the staff here.

I have two children that attend La Petite Portsmouth. We have been very happy with the care they have received! The communication with Management and teachers has been great, and I love that all of the teachers know each of the kids, regardless of what class they are in. I get regular updates/photos of what they are learning, eating, and their sleep schedules. My son is in the Junior K program and he is going to be well prepared for his upcoming Kindergarten debut based on the curriculum they have at La Petite. We are happy to be a part of this school!

We love the teachers and management; Her teachers always greet us with a smile, and School Leadership is ready to help with any questions or concerns I've brought to them. It was a tough transition for my daughter but the tearful drop-offs were made so much easier with the consistent contact with the teachers, and lots of reassurance. I know that my child is in great hands and I love receiving the daily updates on the app and in person at pick-up.

We are very happy with our decision to send our child here - and we intend to send our next here as well!Everyone at the location is amazing, from management, to the cleaning staff, to the staff that helps keep those little bellies filled. Our child’s teachers are very attentive and ensure to communicate with us throughout the day. They made the transition of sending our first baby to daycare a breeze and we are very thankful for them.

My kids have been at this LA petite since 2020. I am very happy with the care they have received. I like that I have updates on the app throughout the day. The cameras are also convenient for a quick peek. When I've checked in the teachers are interacting with the kids and they look like they are having a good time.the administration takes the health of the building seriously. We get notifications if there is a case of COVID or any other illness and signs are posted.

My daughter has been enrolled in a Learning Care Group school since she was 8 weeks old. She is now 11. My daughter loved going to La Petite in Portsmouth this summer for summer camp, as well as on school out days. Mr. Amari was absolutely amazing in School Age and made it fun for them. During the school year, I am able to use the drop in care which really helps on school out days. When my daughter walks in she is always welcomed in by all of the staff, and they regularly ask about her when she is not in attendance. Also, there was a lot of communication from the teachers and the other management through the SproutAbout app. I would get updates on meals, field trips, pictures, and could randomly check in on the cameras to see what's going on in the classroom. Even though I work for the company, I am not able to be in the room with her and see what's going on all the time. It is nice to have that communication and level of care!

I have 2 kids here, both of them have been going since they were 2 months old. I have been very happy with the care and education received here. All of the staff are really great and caring. They keep me well updated on my kids actives during the day. Truly believe my son has better social and language skills due to being here versus keeping him home.

My daughter has been enrolled at this center since she was 13 months old. My husband and I have been extremely happy with the care she has recieved over the years. The teachers are great and seem to really care about the students. She is currently in PreK with Mr. Amari and is excited to go to school every day. She talks about what she learned and I am impressed with the progress she has made. My son is one and started there at 3 months old. I was obviously nervous but Ms.Betty and Ms. Janisha instantly put me at ease. They are attentive and my baby always looks happy at pick up.

I walked Anne for a tour I had scheduled blindfolded with my six month old the lady who runs this facility, opens the door, lets me in and doesn’t tell me until about five minutes later that there was Covid in the building. No sign on the door. No mask was worn by her overall just not a positive experience and exposing me blindfolded with a young child, whose immune system is not the greatest also did not inform me before hand that there was a waitlist and they don’t accept it state assistance. I had to ask to make sure

Looks like the day care me and brother went to as a kid. It was mentally and physically abusing. I can’t wait to tell my story

All I can say is what I witness on the playground everyday, ID NEVER LET MY CHILD GO HERE. Screamed at and snatched up by their arms and dragged in off the playground. I can not believe my eyes when I see it. I feel sorry for anyone that has their children in this daycare.

My toddler loves his teachers, and he's learning and having fun with his classmates. We appreciate the information and photos his teachers share in the Brightwheeel app, and we like that the WatchMeGrow system allows us to check in on the classroom throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well the school has managed to avoid closures due to the pandemic in the 1.5 years our son has been attending (just one 7-day shutdown). We think this is a great daycare for our little one.

Besides the fact that my kids were bullied here and the teachers didn't do anything about it La Petite of Portsmouth closed their school due to a COVID outbreak since their teachers aren't all vaccinated. Gave parents less than a day warning (BY A TEXT MESSAGE ON ONE OF 3 APPS THEY USE) that their kids would be out of school for multiple weeks. Oh, and we still were required to PAY THE SCHOOL for the time the kids were not ALLOWED in the school. No phone calls. No professionalism.
