drove all the way for the kids stay and play but no one was there, when i asked staff seem confused that i was dropping kids off in the already short 2 hr time frame for fridays

This place is amazing it was my first time going we were really looking for a place to go to since we are having a vacation and this place was top notch.friendly staff,good service and great things to do for the kids and it's overall very welcoming!

Absolute WORST SUMMER CAMP!!! Not so much the youth leaders, but management is unprofessional, terrible with communication, and typically never know what's going on. Had to stop payments for them to respond to me. Other locations are better.

Recently moved away, but I really enjoyed working out at this location. Less crowded than others in the area and has everything you need for a good workout. However, I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the warm and helpful staff that made every interaction feel like I was family. Good place, great people!

I have worked for this YMCA for a year and a half and had to move due to the military, but I can say that the structure and organization this YMCA has is the best, I currently live in North Carolina and the YMCA I work for is very unstructured and unorganized, I felt at home and like family with the staff and management at the effingham county YMCA! They are the best YMCA! The YMCA up here is very unfriendly and very rude to not just their staff but their parents! But my effingham Y family will always be my favorite! You guys are awesome! KEEP BEING AMAZING!

In regards to their summer camp program I'd highly recommend against sending your young child here. Extremely unorganized, unprofessional, piss poor communication and to be honest you can tell they could care less and don't want to be there. So if you were considering their summer camp for your child and wanted to check the reviews this is a heads up now to avoid and instead enroll your child in the other YMCA on High St. Night and day difference.

management sucks one instructor are unprofessional. I would not suggest any one to go to the power class on Saturday . instructor so rude and disrespectful and unprofessional.

Great place to workout. Other members are focused on working out, but are still friendly with each other. Never a wait for a machine in the morning hours!

Great small community facility. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and the classes are not overly crowded nor is the equipment. Equipment is clean and in good working order.
It is small, and equipment variety is limited. There is no indoor pool for fall/winter use. There types of classes offered are also limited and minimal, but again the few which are offered are fun and engaging.
