Love the folks at this CVS! They all help the customer and we appreciate it. Sometimes there’s a wait but that’s because of the quality of services and goods they provide.

Horrible first experience here had me waiting in line for an hour then told me to come in another hour for them to fill my prescription and when I get back to wait another hour because they only have the pharmacist in the front with an attitude told me I needed to come in the next day to get the rest of my medication horrible!

This review is only for the store, not the pharmacy.I received good service from the cashier, and the manager was okay too. I will say that the manager was also dealing with an intoxicated customer at the same time she was interacting with me. She was very hesitant to lose eye contact with the other customer. I totally understood that because the lady's behavior was all over the place.The store is very clean and well-stocked, and it is easy to find what you are looking for very quickly. The location is a bit much. It is near the interstate, and the volume of traffic is high. Customers do not have patience with each other or the store employees.I will come back again between 10am and 2pm with the older crowd. Smiles!

I went to get medication for my dog. They didn't have it ready & no reason why. They thought my dog was a cat... b/c the prescription said canine *facepalm*. They don't know the difference between canine & feline, yet they're trusted to fill human prescriptions? This worries me.

Don't go here unless you want your health care plan to go down the toilet. Apparently they can change your name brand prescription to generic whenever they feel like it and they don't care if it affects your health care plan when your doctor wants you on the name brand. They only care of your doctor specifically says you need the name brand when this is the first time this has ever happened to me so yeah don't go here ever. The people who work in the pharmacy are nice until you say hey you screwed up my health care plan what am I supposed to do now. In short summary they said we don't care not our problem tell your doctor to be more specific.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Signed up for auto refill for my prescriptions. Two months in a row their auto refill service not working. Called last night to make sure my prescription was being refilled since I only had enough for a day. Automated system said my prescription was being refilled and I could pick it up after 8:00 . Swung by today after work. Picked up my prescriptions after work. Got home and they gave me the wrong prescriptions. Tried to call them on the way back to the store. Someone finally answered after 20 minutes. When I explained the issue they hung up on me. Got back to the pharmacy explained what had happened and everyone in the pharmacy had an attitude. I reminded them that I was the customer and they told me to transfer my prescriptions somewhere else. Lisa was especially rude. I called CVS corporate customer service to complain. The CVS customer service rep. Actually witnessed their employees yelling at me while I was on the phone with her. There are obviously a lot of issues here. They act like they are doing you a favor but they are actually supposed to be doing their job and I believe that they have forgotten this. Avoid this place!

Horrible customer service in the pharmacy avoid this place if at all possible. Very unpleasant. They have forgotten that you are the customer and act like they are doing you a favor if they do happen to refill your prescription that you have on auto refill. Obviously their auto refill system is not working. Even had an employee yell at me while I was on the phone with their cooperate customer service representative

The service here is terrible. I can understand not being peppy. Jobs that involve working directly with customers come with a lot of demands and to be honest are exhausting but don't be rude to me when I'm asking you a question about a product you are providing.. that's your actual job. That's not you going above and beyond, that's you doing the bare minimum and you're not even doing that. Save yourself the stress of coming here and choose literally any other pharmacy and maybe the reduction in customers will allow them to do their job more efficiently for the customer that don't have a choice but to go there!

Customer service in the pharmacy is nonexistent. I called to have a RX switched from one pharmacy in Norfolk to here. CVS said they'd call and get the info on my behalf. The next week they hadn't done so when I came to pick up my RX. They said they would do it that night and asked me for the pharmacy's number. I was surprised they do not have a list of area major pharmacy's and their numbers. I went ahead and googled it on my phone. I was told to come back in an hour. When I returned 90 minutes later they had not reached the pharmacy and did not have my prescription filled. It sucks to be an adult and put in your refill a week ahead of time and not have it filled when you need it. It also sucks to run out of meds because the po pharmacy dropped the ball. If you can put your refills in 2-3 weeks ahead of time. Its simply unprofessional that they apparently do not have access to google or a yellow pages in 2018. Portmsouth deserves better than the pharmacy services of this store.
