Took my daughter’s car here to get the check engine light looked at. They had the car a couple days which is fine. We picked it up and on the way home it came back on and it was running worse. We turned around and went in to the office to let them know what was going on. The owner at first was giving me a hard time. Stated they drove it around with no issues so this could be new issue and you will have to pay. Well when they pulled it back to look at it..it was the same issue. They had to program something because of the new piece they put it. He claimed again he should have charged me for having to program it. After speaking with him he didn’t charge me because it was the same issue and it’s not my fault they didn’t know they had to program it when they put the new part in. They are the professionals not me. A week goes by and the check engine light comes on and off. Plus the A/C all of a sudden stopped working. Had no issues with the A/C prior to bringing the car to this shop. Definitely wasn’t going to bring it back to them. It was still a bit cold outside so we weren’t in a rush to fix it. Fast forward to May. Took it to my dads shop in Atlanta as we just moved from VA back home to GA. Auto Repairs by Patrick has been around 30+ years. He found the issue. Someone cut the power going to the condenser. The spot it was cut at right behind the head light is only accessible right under the hood.. it is a spot you would just have to know what you are looking for to cut something like that. No chew marks. It was a clean cut. The only conclusion we can come to as only two shops have looked at this vehicle this year. My dads shop who fixed it and this one. I would think twice about bringing your vehicle to this location. The owner is rude and it seems they were mad we brought the car back with the same issue.

They are an honest company which gets a number of referrals. My mechanic, who I trust 100%, referred me to them. They got me in and out on the same hot 95 degree day! They charged my car's air conditioner and did a fantastic job! They have a customer for life!

Airline Automotive & Truck Center did a fantastic job on my front end alignment. They were quick and thorough in taking care of my beloved Ford Flex. If you get there before 8:00 you a have a great chance of being the very first vehicle. I was in and out in 25 minutes…who does that? And it was only $63.14! So when you are in Portsmouth, Va. and you need a front end alignment, stop by Airline Automotive & Truck Center at 3308 Airline Blvd. They open at 8:00 am and close at 5:00 pm.

DO NOT go here. Rude as can be. They will tell you no appointments just come and well get it done. Waited 1hr 30 min. Then the grumpy old dude comes out and rudely says we wont be able to get it done today. Asked when is a good time tomorrow? he said all day, or i could just leave it. i explained i dont have a ride to leave it. He said well thats not my problem, i told him i wasnt making it his problem was just trying to figure out best time for me to come back but you dont have to be rude. He goes off and says you aint seen rude yet im the ugliest m'fr around. I said ok im leaving not going to deal with someone so rude, he said oh your about to see rude im just getting started. This place has a history of rude behavior after ive looked farther into them.
