We'll never stop bringing our pets here for their care. Dr. Pirhonen cares for our dog and cat like we do and does a great job. Her and the rest of the hospital staff, technicians (especially William) and assistants, and front desk staff are great.

We just moved to VA on military orders. We have three cats and have not found a vet yet. We noticed the Poquoson vet numerous times. Our blue point Siamese seemed to be having an issue, so we needed to get him looked at. I looked into a few vets in the surrounding area and decided on Poquoson vet because of reviews and ease of location. They have a few guidelines to follow. I was allowed to go in with our cat and have one other person. I chose to just go myself for the staff's safety and our safety. I sat in the car and did my paperwork there. Once the room was ready, we entered. It was fairly easy. I was extremely happy that I could go inside with our cat. They explained everything to me and were honest and upfront about everything. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of. Always ask questions especially if you do not understand something. They will answer. 24 hours after the appointment I got a call from an employee checking on our cat, Oliver. I thought that was the nicest thing ever! I guess we found our vet.

They got my Noodles in last minute and he was seen by Dr. P and Lynn, both of which were so empathetic and gentle with him. He gets very anxious and this was the calmest I have ever seen him at the vet in 15 years, all because they took such good care of him. Lynn also went above and beyond to explain the different things he would benefit from in great detail. She was very knowledgeable and informative. The receptionists are also all very nice. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would!

Love this place. The staff are top notch! They go above& beyond for you & your pets. The Doctors are so kind & caring. My dogs just love coming here. The place is always clean & smells amazing.

They treat the dogs well, but they are quite possibly the slowest ever, you could show up 30 minutes late and still be early.

I have taken all my animals there for at least 20 years. The staff has been wonderful and I know that my animals are safe when they are being boarded. When I have lost animals they have been a supportive second family.

The staff are warm and friendly. The amount of time the doctor spends discussing your pet's health is phenomenal. Poquoson Vet is the best, and I highly recommend them.

This place has exceptional customer service!!! As soon as we walked through the door we experienced a warm friendly welcoming from the ladies at the front counter. My pup, Rock, was welcomed in like he was a regular client and he was super excited to be at the Veterinary (for once). Recently our old Veterinary contacted us and told us our dog was due for his annual check up. Scrambling to find a nearby Veterinary close to home with good reviews, customer service and lastly good price I was able to find this spot. The ultimate selling point was the availability they had because they were able to schedule us to come back in for the next morning. Dr. Williams is a great veterinarian and he got down to ground level to make my pup feel welcomed and he brought out some cheese whip to reduce my pups shy and nervous emotions. During his exam he listened to our concerns and provided us answers and options that best suited our dogs needs. Overall we had a great experience as a family and our pup was taken care of in a great manner. We will defiantly be coming back and highly recommend this place!
