When I come inside the employees are courteous and polite. But when I call nobody answers the phone. The automated service gives you the run around and nobody ever picks up. Very nerve wrecking when you are incapacitated and trying to handle your business.

I've recently worked with the local outreach branch on Perry St and it was a great experience. Their facility is comfortable and feels like a hangout. I have seen how they are in support for the local community and I appreciate that.

The wait time for when you have to call them puts the “T” in TERRIBLE!! But the representatives are actually great.My advice: Hire more people I should not have to wait almost 2 hours to get someone on the line.

My mom referred me to this bank, they have some positives However, as far as protecting an individual as a consumer… They have not executed! Most banks process claims right away, and then investigate. In my case I assume they are investigating however, I just don’t know. I’ve got several reasonings as to why my claim hasn’t been processed, or reviewed in a timely manner. (Staffing issues, promotions, webinars, lunch breaks) & every excuse under the moon as to why claim hasn’t been reviewed for provisional credit. I sent over 5 pages as to why I shouldn’t of been charged by this particular merchant. It’s now been over ten BUSINESS days & still not a peep. My family has experienced more then just this situation, when it comes to PAFCU not protecting the consumer. I just feel as if their inner issues between the two banks supersede customer need. They are a little out of date with some other their features, & practices as well for example Apple Pay, Zelle, & up to 10 day (or longer) wait times on claims. I do like the bank, I can only pray they get it together.

PAFCU is the best credit union in VA! Hands down! They have so many options for account types and for credit building. Their customer service however is just unmatched! Jamie always helps me with any issues. She is so kind, intelligent and efficient. She is what keeps me a member! I always use the Petersburg branch but Taylor at the Colonial Heights branch is a doll too. Just great customer service all around. They really care for and appreciate each and every member! Highly recommend PAFCU!

The service received on a vehicle loan has been poor. Each question has to be asked multiple times before receiving a reply. Frequently, the information received is inaccurate or incomplete. Worse, payments were not applied as directed. No calls asking to clarify requirements. Instead, assumptions were made and applied to the account without our knowledge or approval.Take your financial business elsewhere. You will be happy you did.

Return peoples phone calls when they leave a message that they need some information. I have left 5 messages and no one has bothered to give me a call back over a period of 4 weeks.

I waited in line to get change for $20 because of the shortage in change. I needed a 10, 5, and $5 in quarters. They said I could so i send my $20 up the tube then they send it back saying I don't have an account. What kind of bank can't make change for a $20
