“I ran into a local Food Lion to grab a variety of lunch meat for submarine sandwiches. I got to the counter and the deli worker greeted me with the biggest, friendly smile. She told me about the specials and answered all of my questions. When I selected the meats, she asked how I wanted them sliced. She asked me what I was making and offered some slice sizes that would enhance my submarine sandwich. She was so very helpful.I looked at the breads and decided on some freshly baked sub rolls. They even had a submarine oil that was designed to give my sandwich an authentic sub taste. I went to the produce section and everything looked fresh and was presented nicely. The floors were clean and free of debris. The fresh options made my choices fun. I got some fresh lettuce and tomatoes for my sub. I was also able to grab some freshly sliced fruit medley to have as a snack. I was surprised they had those options available. I went to check out and the cashier was swamped with customers, but kept an amazing attitude. He checked me out and asked for my MVP card. He bagged my items quickly and wished me a great rest of the day. I was so delighted the customer service is alive and well.”
