I have been living at Aubrey apartments for two months now. Property manager (kwame) is great very nice and considerate my only downfall of this apartment complex is the mailboxes need fixing. People can open it up and look through your mail and write on whatever (probably kids). hopefully this problem gets solved

I moved from CT to VA in 2022. Although it's bittersweet to be moving on from my first apartment. There were many things the owner of this property needs to do to make sure tenants feel they are in community here. Steady staff would do wonders. In addition regular pest control for rodents and insects would do wonders. Kwamane made the process of moving out really easy he's very fair where he can be and will do his best to help. Just ask. He deserves a raise and more help to get things done

The apartments are not properly upkept. The management is even worse specifically property manager. It is basically impossible to contact regional manager for the management company. Property manager unprofessional and inconsiderate of the residents the only kind people working are in maintenance. And sadly they are unable to over shadow all that is wrong with the complex entirely. Terrible pest infestation & they currently have numerous complaints with Petersburg Health Department. The price is not worth the hassle I strongly recommend against moving to the complex.

After being out all day searching for a place to live for myself and family I came to Aubrey apartments and was welcomed with a pleasant smile, perfessionalism, and the eagerness to assist. Kwamuane was very pleasant and helpful. You can definitely tell he’s about his business. I greatly appreciate you Kwamuane!!!!!!!

the staff is friendly but the changing of management twice in a year makes it difficult if you aren't able to pay rent with a money order and rely on the residential portal to pay rent.

Just moved in and have to say that kwamane is very good at his job. Extremely polite and helpful. Really would of looked for another place to live if it wasn't for his professionalism and honesty about these Apts.

I visited Aubrey to inquire about housing for our clients at Hebrews1313 (a non profit organization). After being discouraged by so many communities, Asia and Kwamane really brightened my spirits! They were so warm and welcoming. Gave an amazing first impression of what we have to look forward to with our Residents at Aubrey. You guys definitely have our vote as Best Community!

I must say that Kwame is a very helpful and professional young man. It appears that he’s the only one working in the office. Owner NEVER there past lunch. He does the very best that he can do solo. But the only problem I have is the hidden fees that you don’t find out about until you’re approved. There’s a waived application fee, one month free rent or $100 off your rent every month for 11 months, which is your choice but there’s also a $200 administration fee which is posted a $500 deposit that is not posted and an extra $186 a month for utilities and the use of the washer & dryer which is not posted. Rent being $1100 a month for two bedrooms or should I say $1286 a month because of the extra $186 is not all bad but it’s the same price for both the renovated units and non-renovated units. If you’re gonna get the non-renovated unit it should be much less. That’s my only issue. Blessings to Kwame for being such a hard worker and honest employee. Hope he can get some help some day.

Lived here for a while with different management and wasn’t happy to hear management changing again. But new management has done twice as much work and other ones have done, I love the new friendly staff they are the best staff I have ever seen working here.The young lady who I usually talk, Asha, she is so sweet and helpful, if you ever need anything definitely talk to her. While Aubrey has definitely had a lot of issues due to poor management! This staff is working hard to bring this property back where it should be and I couldn’t be more happier, when you’re a good tenant you will definitely have a good experience, don’t be an a** tenant and expect the best the staff are people too and is clearly trying their best.

Wow, the leasing office staff was amazing & so helpful. If you’re interested in getting a spot, definitely hit up Kwame’, he’s cool and upfront! The apartment was cool, and I love the plans they have on renovations and upgrading the area/community. I’m only here for a year but he still made sure to inform me and was patient with all my questions.
