All the employees are so sweet and kind. The continental breakfast is amazing and the rooms were very roomy and clean. Love the bed and pillows! 10/10 nice experience.

The cleanliness of the rooms were amazing, as a previous hotel worker, I look at rooms with a fine tooth comb and this hotel passed the test with room cleanliness !

AVOID - we were given a key to an occupied room. A day later, someone else was given the key to our room. Toilet was dirty, tub was broken and it looked like a two year-old caulked it together…disappointed in Holiday Inn.

Amazing stay here
The breakfast is made with love
The rooms are SUPER CLEAN
Very reasonable rates
Just off the 95 highway and lots of stores and restaurants less then 5 mins away
Definitely will be back
Safety: Super safe area very quiet and with lots around
Food and drinks: Great breakfast like the sausage rounds actually taste like burger kings in Canada

The hotel was under renovation while we were there but the hotel was still clean and orderly. The front desk staff and the cleaning staff are all amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was amazing, tons of options for everyone and great hot food options as well. Our room was extremely clean and spacious, the back deck outside of the pool was a nice place to relax and there’s a gas grill to use if you want. The pool was not as clean as expected but we assumed this wasn’t top priority at the moment since they are improving the rooms. There’s a few gas stations and restaurants within walking distance, Walmart is a few minutes up the road as well. We had a great stay and would definitely be back. Thank you to the amazing staff for being so friendly

Racist management and very very rude reception. Moldy rooms and horrible breakfast
Rooms: Awful....mold in the shower as well as behind the toilet There was still urine in the toilet makes me think that it wasn't even cleaned. There was used bar of soap left in the shower. when i pulled my blankets back to get into bed theres a used condom . I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN LET ALONE SUGGEST ANYONE ELSE TO. Its ashame this hotel is going downhill because from what I understand its a military hotel. Our service men and women deseve better When i complained to the clerk about my experience she basically called me a liar and dismissed me i overheard her and the GM talking and saying , I quote " those damn white people have nothing better to but complain, they think they're better than us" end quote
Safety: I felt very violated and racially profiled against
Noteworthy details: Whoever the owners sre really need to look into their staff and management because it's going to have a very bad outcome if they don't.

Would not recommend staying here. Guy who was supposed to be working the desk was asleep in the small cubby area adjacent to the desk.
When I came to check in with my family (around 5:30pm), there was no one at the check in desk. We rang the bell… nothing. Then 2 more guests came in to check in and after waiting a few minutes said “hello, is anyone here?” We started to peek behind the desk and that’s when we saw a foot propped up on a stool in the area adjacent to the desk. We must have been loud enough to wake him up so he could check us in. His eyes were bloodshot and he was clearly not sober.
Rooms are fine. Echo the other comments that rooms feel damp. Everything is outdated and just hoping it’s clean enough to get us through a one night stay.
Will not stay here again.

I always stay at Holiday inn Express when I am traveling, convenient location, but this time the room was so outdated that the fridge was broken and the bathroom was not as clean as the rest of Holiday inn Express I stayed in over the years.
The room was very spacious though, fit six people with plenty of room for bags and stuff to store.
Just not satisfied with the quality and cleanliness of the room

This was my second time staying at this location. My experience this time cause me to just get up and leave during the middle of the night. My first night checking around 3am my room was damp and smelled like mode. Someone came to check on it around 930 only to say the air conditioner unit was leaking. My next night as we was failing asleep my kids woke me up because someone was coming in our room with a key. The scariest thing every. The lady that was at the desk when I check in was walking the floor when I looked out but seemed like she didn't know what I was talking about. That was concerning especially having your kids in the room scary. I packed my family up checked out and left. I will not be back and that was really a bad experience to wake up to someone coming in your room.

I am an IHG member for a reason. I know what I am going to get. This hotel does NOT let you down. Clean rooms that are spacious compared to the average sized hotel room. Breakfast is hot and fresh. The gym is larger you would expect. Two treadmills an elliptical and a stationary bike there's also free weights and a bench and more. The pool is not huge but great for a few laps and great size for kids to have fun in. In addition I have seen the staff clean and treat it several times since my stay. But, the best part of this hotel is the staff. They are very helpful and solve any issues they can for you as soon as possible. Weather or not it's propane for the grill of if you ask for extra towels. They are amazing. And I have to especially say thank you to Monique for all her help. This will definitely be a place I come back to if the opportunity comes up again.
Rooms: They are clean and inviting
Safety: There are many hotels closer to shopping in Petersburg. These hotels are 1000 rooms versus this 100 room hotel. Less people, less noise. Less general public not staying at the hotel in the area. Less chance of problems. And the best thing is that if you do want to go shopping you are only 15 minutes away. And, 5 minutes from a local Walmart. I would much rather be 5 to 15 minutes away from things, than in the middle of a highly populated area with the possibility of crime.

Room was clean for the most part, except some moths in the room, ew. Stayed here on a sold out nights recently.
Parking? Super limited with 3 hotels all next door to each other. Dont go out at night, you wont have parking when returning and will have to park across the road.
Internet? Forget it. Doesnt work. Would be able to use it for 5 to 10 minutes an hour
Bathtub seemed roughed up.
This place is definitely slacking and needs upgrades. They should be charging red roof rates here for $60/night. Not $160

The hotel manager at the time I went, I do not know her name but she was very nasty and rude. She knew that she ŵasn't going to rent to us, even though we already had paid reservations for two rooms, but did not know when the policy changed or how to ring us up correctly because we had reservation. Poor management. Also made us wait because we were about 15 minutes early, made us wait to check in causing us to check in late only to be told we couldn't even rent a room because of where our id shows we live. Mind you we already paid. My worst experience ever at a hotel by far.

the staff is friendly the rooms are clean however our room we paid for prior to coming was given away the room we got both tvs did not work it’s also under renovation however there was no notes nor where we told so when we got to the floor we where staying in it was a complete shock since it’s not finished yet i did however figure there’s a bit of mold at the end of the one hallway. over all wasn’t a great stay
